                                                                                January 3rd 4:55

Massie sat in the chair in front of her white imac. The same one which Claire had positioned herself behind and pretended to be her. The same one that she had messaged all her friends on.

She sighed as she stared at it in despair.

"Oh, Bean," she said to her little lap dog who stared at her from the four poster bed with sad puppy-dog eyes. "What happens when I go back to school? What happens when Friday night, the best night of the week, comes?"

Bean may not be able to give advice to support Massie, however, he was the best listener. Probably in the whole of Westchester. It was something she could really use now, someone to listen to her, anyone.

"I just don't understand how Alicia could do something like this!" Her amber-brown eyes were overcome with a sudden flash of anger. "It's not fair!!" she exclaimed.

Bean barked at her.

"Thank god I've got Kris and Dylan on my side." She glanced at the latest photo she had recently put up.

It was taken at the spa where she had constant visits to. Where else would she get her perfect complexion and glossy bob?

"Leesh not coming?" Kristen asked one she had clambered over Massie and sat herself in her usual spot beside her.

Massie, instantly shot her a 'what do you think' look.

"Of course she isn't" Massie said calmly after a few seconds of silence.

She was shocked at Kristen. How could she do this? She didn't even give Massie a hug, or said how excited she was for school. She didn't even ask about her holidays.

She turned round to glance at Claire who were stuffing her face with Gummy Feet from Cam. Typical. She frowned and folded her arms in front of her. Even Claire was giving her the cold shoulder. What was going on?

The car came to an abrupt stop in front of the Marvil's grand house. All of a sudden, there was a crash of red hair and coats as Dylan, rather ungracefully, placed herself next to Kristen.

"Sorry," she smiled slyly before tearing open her cereal bar.

"Get that thing away from me." Massie grimace as she stared at the bits of cereal coming of Dylan's snack bar.

"You're not seriously still on the Zone diet, are you?" Kristen asked checking her phone for unread messages.

"Just started actually." Dylan said munching her bar and wrapping it back up and putting it in her food box.

Massie rold her eyes in disgust. "Anyway, kuh-laire," she said turning round to face her. "Have you already started on your 'cannibal' diet?"

Claire just looked up sadly and continued picking out extra-long ones.

"Oh, by the way, Isaac." Massie turned her attention to the driver. "Don't bother stopping at Alicia's. Go straight to OCD...please." She requested innocently.
