Starting at age 10 kids are given companion animals that develop along side them. These animals can range anywhere deem a goldfish to a horse. The only catch is that they are assigned based on behavior during childhood. A Dragon being assigned to a child is unheard of...especially a female nonetheless...until one girl changed it all.
