Authors note: Okay like I said, first post of this thing got deleted so I'm rewriting it. It's probably gonna be a little different. Or a lot. Idk. And I know I missed the first day but whatever at least I'm doing it! So enjoy! Btw there's ONE cuss word so heads up before I get angry letters from parents who's kids write smut already. 🤷🏽♀️
My heart hammered against my rib cage ready to jump out like those cartoon characters in Looney Tunes. He looked so perfect. The way the moonlight shined on his dark, messy hair and his gorgeous brown eyes.
"Hey B-Bruce?" My mouth felt dry as I forced myself to call out at him. He turned to me smiling that one smile that always made me giddy. I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"Um. I-I wanted to...to tell you that...that I...ah fuck it." I don't know what came over me and I may never find out but in a fit of unsuspected courage, I quickly leaned over and kissed him. I didn't even know what I was doing. I've only ever seen people kiss on TV or in movies aside from my parents and I've never actually kissed someone before. But just as I made my move, I pulled away. I looked down at the ground with tears brimming my eyes. How could I be so stupid? Why did I do that? I probably ruined everything now.
"Was that your first kiss?" As he said that the tears began to slip out. My head shot up to see a huge smile on his perfect face.
"M-maybe. I just...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that." He laughed.
"Why are you apologizing? I've never had the guts to tell you but, I like you too." He reached out and wiped away my tears. He then scooted over and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.
"I wish I had your courage. I doubt I'd be able to do what you did. Let alone it being my first kiss."
I smiled at that. I can't believe I haven't fainted yet. But even so, I'm glad I took that risk.
