Darkness is all around her, flowing like a pitch black river. A girl with wavy red-brown hair, pulled back into a sloppy braid, opened her eyes to see nothing but a small candle flickering despite the still air. The girl's name was Aspen she had been on a camping trip with her large dog Wolf, a german shepherd - husky mix. She winced as her head started to pound when she sat up, now hearing worried, scared, whispers.

"Who are you?" She hear a voice ask from the darkness.

"H-huh?" Aspen questioned, lifting her gaze from the ground and locking eyes with another girl who was looking down at her

"Who are you?" The girl repeated, her head tilting to the left slightly. Aspen tore her gaze away from her and spotted a few other teens her age talking nervously until one of them yelled and started to pound the floor.

"Let me out! Let me out!" He screeched in anger, his brown eyes now burning.

"Cody! Stop it! That won't help anything!" Another girl with flowing blond hair yelled in return.

"Um... hello?" The girl originally speaking to her waved her hand in front of Aspen's face.

"O-Oh! Sorry..." Aspen chuckled nervously, looking back at her. "My name is Aspen.. Er.. what's yours?" She questioned, putting on a nervous smile. The girl opened her mouth to respond before a voice exploded from the walls.

"Welcome!" It started to speak, it was a male voice, raspy but strangely... excited?"I see you might not know where you are, but that doesn't matter right now-" the voice was cut off by Cody's scream

"Doesn't matter? DOESN'T MATTER?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT 'DOESN't MATTER'?!" He yelled, waving his balled fist in the air to try and touch the ceiling to find where the voice was coming from.

"I was getting to that before I was rudely interrupted." The voice cleared its throat. "Welcome to the chamber! This is where the game will take place!"

"Um.. Game?" A male voice spoke up. Aspen looked over at the guy who spoke. It was hard to make out what he looked like because of the dim light but she could make out that the guy had silvery-purple hair.

"Yep! A Game! Here's how you play," The voice paused, the sound of flipping papers echoing through the room. "Alright this is how this is going to work. One of the people in this room is... let's just say is dangerous and might.... Ahem.... get rid of some of you." The girl who was talking to Aspen piped up.

"Get rid of some of us? You mean like.... kill us?" She stuttered out, her voice shaky as if she was on a train. The voice sighed.

"Yes.. now can you stop interrupting me? Actually.... Now that I think about it... I'll tell you 'bout it when the times comes. For now, good luck and have fun." He chuckled menacingly before a sudden buzzing sound poppes up for about 30 seconds after he left? Before cutting out. A few worried screams rang out across the room, all of the screams saying something along of the lines of 'what?!' or 'Get me outta here!' Aspen looked around frantically, desperately looking for a way out of this place she ran in a random direction and started to feel the walls

"There has to be a-" Mid-sentence she was cut off by a loud scream. She whipped around and saw that the candle had flickered out and they were left in complete darkness, like the candle had hands and was blocking it's light. Everyone was silent, so silent you could hear a pin drop. Suddenly the candle lit back up, revealing something no one wanted to see. The small body of a blood girl lay by the candle, her pale face illuminated by the faint candlelight, showing the blood trickling from a deep gash in her throat. Aspen stumbled backward, falling to the ground with a soft thud.

"Sis!" A girl with the same blood hair and facial features raced next to her and kneeling down. "I-Iris! W-Wake up!" She shook the body of her, obvious, sister. Aspen sat up and stared at the two, her heart felt like it was being stabbed with a thorn of sympathy. Another ,obvious angry voice yelled out.
