Cold shoulder

Adeles POV.
I live in a great big house in London not in the centre. I have no one here i feel lonely. My husband died four months ago and I cannot handle it. Suddenly the doorbell rings. "Adele?" A women asks. I know her. It's Penny. "Penny?" I ask fake smiling. "Hey I have driven here since a hour because I search Ben, Ben Smith?! Do you know him?" She ask. "Y-yes it is, sorry it was my husband. He died four months ago sorry." I explain. "Oh Adele I'm so sorry for you" she says while tears fill her eyes. "Come in"  I say nice. I put on the coffee machine and take two coffee mugs out off the Kitchen cupboard. "Do you need milk or sugar?" I ask.  "Huh? Ahm yes both" Penny answers. "Difficult times" I yawn. "What do you needed from him?" I ask her. "Nah, I have been in a class with him and wanted to drink a coffee with him" she explain. I don't believe it, she lives in Manchester and it's almost a hour from Manchester to this little village here in London. "Ah okay. And you live in Manchester" I ask. "Yes but I drove here because I wanted to search for a new house" she response. Super. I don't like her that much. "I'm confused. Why do you wanna live here did you get a job?" I ask. "Yeah" she laughs. "Delly I know it's difficult for you in this times. But maybe we can go out for some time?" She ask me shyly. "Nuh. Not sure why?" My voice scratches. "Maybe you can forget your pain for an evening" she reply. "Yes maybe. Okay let's go" I say. I don't know why I said yes but she had so many good arguments. "Okay I have to go back to my hotel and have to take a shower and so on. I come back later for you! I'm back at 6 pm." She yells happily. Okay 6 pm. I don't know how I should handle it. He's dead and I have to be happy tonight. I walk up stairs to my bathroom and take a shower. Usually after the shower I throw myself on the bed and sleep, but now I have to wear a bit make up and maybe a beautiful dress. I dry my hair with a big hair dryer. I curl my hair a bit brush My teeth. Make a eyeliner wing on both eyes and God it looks stunning. I call one of my best friends Laura and ask her what dress I should wear. Me: "Hey Lau, I don't know which dress I should wear"
Laura: " You? A dress? You joking!"
Me: " No don't be mean! Maybe the red or the black one?"
Laura: "The black one! Delly sorry but i can't talk right now I phone you back later okay Luv ya!!"
And the she hung up. Good the black one. I take a look in the mirror and I look like I want to go on stage. A smile drew across my face. It's 5 pm and I'm bored, maybe I can read a book or something. I take a look on the big cupboard with hundreds of books in it. I take one and the title of the book is "Across the river" Huh. Okay the first page. Suddenly the doorbell rings again and I break up the book. I'm on page 120. I'd like the book:) I slowly begin to walk down stairs to Penny. I open the door and her mouth is wide open. "Fuck you look stunning" she says. I start to like her. "Come on go in the car" she say. I walk towards the Car and sit in it.
