I walk into school and promptly my jaw kisses the floor. I dont know anyone here. Ok that's a lie but there are so many new people I feel as though I am in the wrong school.

"I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY"

Wuhay! My best buddy is here: I actually know someone here. And what better way to greet her than,

"I WANNA FEEL THE HEAT WITH SOMEBODY!"

I have no idea why we are singing this song but hey its a classic.

I spot Jackie by a locker that is not hers and I can see her jumping up and down to try and find me. Its comical watching her and when she finally sees me laughing at her she saunters over (saunter is an awesome word) and slaps my cheek. Admittedly its not that hard but it was hard enough to make me slap hers and then we are in a full on slap war. We haven't even said hi to each other yet! She finally gives up and hugs me. I hug her back of course but slap her on the back as well - I WON. She grins at me and then drags me by the arm to where my locker aparently is. Hers is below mine unfortunately for her and I am going to have great fun this term 'accidentally' hitting her on the head as I open my locker every time. I chuckle to myself but as I open my locker the smile is wiped off my face and replace with cream. Jackie. Is. Going. Down. I can't believe she squirted cream at me. That's such an old trick; we never use it anymore. I need to brig her up to date.

I turn to her with a disappointed look plastered on my face.

"Come on, Jackie, that was lame."

"Ah but you see, dear Amelia, today is the first day of the schopl year and we must save our awesome tricks for the poor, unsuspecting students in our class."

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Jackie Birn is my best friend.
