The story begins in a dark and mysterious time. As I walk down the street with just a blackish backpack on all you see is a little light flickering above a old gas station sign. The world went dark and cold after the war people ran scared when they saw big American jets drop bombs on their own people some didn't even have time to run before they got shot. some of us found shelter. the ones that couldn't died when the bombs went off. Me and 2 others found a bomb shelter buried in a field of junk. we popped the door open and climbed in as we were about to shut the door a gust of wind hit the door and slammed it shut we locked it up and found 4 areas to sleep at old cans of food that was stored in here for more then 30 years. We set in there for about 3 days.
We unlocked the door and pushed it open as we push the door open all you see is ash all over the ground. There was a clear blue sky above us everything around us was destroyed the sun was brighter then I ever seen it. We walked along a old dirt road to a farm house up on the hill we saw a pole stabbed though a dog on the ground there was blood every where, Tyler went up to the dog and read its collar His name was raider as we stood there a building behind us collapsed and scared the shit out of us all. we turned around and the old hotel collapsed we saw body laying under the rubble. All of a sudden we hear a jet flying above us we ran toward the old farm house we got up to the door we knocked about 6 times and no one came to the door as I looked thought the windows I see a old man laying on the ground with a gun next to him I see blood and burn marks everywhere. I open the door slowly the old mans foot was holding the door shut a little; Tyler slid though the crack and moved the old mans foot as we walked in, Rebecca closed and locked the door behind us. we walked around the house I grabbed a 22g shotgun out of a bedroom and found a few bullets in a old gun cabinet. Tyler grabbed the pistol that was laying next to the old man. He saw a gun wound in the head looks like it went though the ear.
I looked up the stairs and there were blood stains on the walls and the floor. I turned around and told Tyler and Rebecca to look for anything we can use, Alright Andrew we're on it said Tyler. I started to walk up the stairs when I hear like a meowing sound as I got closer up the stairs the more louder it got I started hearing scratching against the wall. I walked down this narrow hallway I got up to a door where it was coming from I seen a shadow under the door. I opened it slowly as soon as that door was open the cat jumped toward me I moved and the cat jumped out of a window on the 2nd floor. I went into the room there was a little girl laying in the bed well it look like a girl some of her skin was melted off like someone put a mashmellow over a fire I grabbed the blanket on the floor and covered her lifeless body up. I looked under the bed and found a metal baseball bat, and a Black Backpack. I went over to the closet and found another blanket I grabbed it and threw it in the bag. I walked out the room. As I walked up to a bathroom I found medicine laying on the sick I grabbed it and a bunch of other stuff.
I went down the stairs and I see tyler running through the house screaming I scream for ice cream I started to laugh cause it reminded me of my little sister I hope shes alright I havent seen her in 2 years since our parents split up then it dawned on me how does Tyler have ice cream? Tyler where you get that? In the freezer its running What? yeah theres a generator out back, Show me as Tyler takes me out to the back I see Rebecca with canned food everywhere. See I told you there it is Tyler anounced, It was a old rusty gas generator I look at it it had a litt5le bit over empty on it. It'll last us tonight but we got to find more stuff. I looked around Man this was a place I wanted to raise my kids at one day Yeah but now its a piece of shit now Andrew I was saying before this happen before america when insane Tyler.
All of a sudden we hear Rebecca scream we ran inside and what we saw made us stop in our tracks I grabbed Tylers gun and aimed it at this creature, Its skin was melted mostly off you can see its bones and part of its skull I't grabbed Rebecca Arm and pulled her toward him as his mouth opened I shot him right in the arm that was holding on to her the arm ripped right off of it's body she went backwards and the arm was still holding on to her Tyler pried the hand off of her arm as the creature got back up I seen magots coming out of its arm and its mouth I took the gun and shot it in the side of its head it droped to the ground in the matter of seconds. Rebecca ran over to me and gave me a hug and started to cry. What the fuck was that baby? I don't know baby Guys you might want to see this? what is it Tyler? As we walked toward the front door all we see is a mob coming toward us they looked like the creature in the kitchen. We got to go now as we grabbed the food, backpack, and the guns we hear the creatures banging on the front door lets go.
we ran out the back door as we see more we ran down the back alley way as we see bodies moving under the rubble. We saw a old beat up truck I ran up to the truck and there was a key inside of it It started up after a few times messing with it. We threw the stuff in the back and Tyler set in the back as Rebecca climbed in front with me.
