Zoey : You expect me to walk around the house naked huh ?

Zonnique : No silly . Here's some shorts you can fit and a tank top

Zoey : You better not be having me wear another nigga's clothes

Zonnique : These are mines ! Now shut up and go get dressed

I swear he's so stubborn. But watching him walk back and forth in that towel was torture . I could see his v line, and if he didn't adjust that towel any better , It would've fallen off.

Zoey : This tank top is kinda tight

Zonnique : It looks fine .

Zoey : I look fruity

Zonnique : No you don't .

Zoey : I can't just sit in the house wearing women's clothes .

Zonnique : I know , that's why I'm going shopping for you .

Zoey : Forreal ?

Zonnique : I can't let you go back to your house and get some clothes, it's not safe. I know they're still looking for you

Zoey : What if they burn my house up ?

Zonnique : You're Rich remember ? You can always move to another city and buy another one

Zoey : Right . But I left some money up in there

Zoey : For everything . I really appreciate it.

Zonnique : Mhmm

Zoey : I never gave you an apology for what I put you through three years ago.
I never meant to hurt you , you know that right ?

Zonnique : Sure you didn't

Zoey : I'm serious . I don't know what I was thinking leaving you for -

Zonnique : A hoe ? A bitch that back stabbed you ? *Laughing*

Zoey : Yeah .. I guess I deserved that for what I done to you

Zonnique : I forgive you okay , now let's not bring this up again. Ever

Zoey : Okay

He bagged out of the room , lifting up his hands in surrender . Zoey was never the type to admit when he's wrong. He never apologized no matter how bad the situation was. It actually meant a lot that he tried . He tried apologizing to me. He's not that good at it , and sorry doesn't fix everything, but it did make me feel a little better.

Bahja : I got to give it to you sis . Your heart is big as hell

Zonnique : *Laughing* I'm just helping him out that's all .

Bahja : After he hurt you ? That's a big deal my friend

Zonnique : Well .. That was three years ago.

Bahja : But you remember it like yesterday don't you ?

Zonnique : *Sighs* I don't wanna talk about it

Bahja : I can't believe you'd turn back. Out of all the men there are in this world . You can get any man you want and you chose him ? You're basically his rebound-

Bahja : Look , I'm sorry Zonnique but-

Zonnique : I don't wanna hear it . Why don't you just worry about you and your relationship with Jacob ? You don't need to worry about me , Zoey , or who ever I fuck with .

Bahja : Did you forget ? We're like sisters . I've been through hell and back because of you ! I damn near lost my life because of you

Zonnique : It's always about you ? Everything is about poor , miss Bahja huh ? Did you ever stop to think that the world doesn't revolve around you ?!

I stormed out of the room and down the stairs. I couldn't stand another second of being in the room with her . Either I was to be the bigger person and walk away , or this a turn into a catastrophe.

Zoey : Everything's alright ?

Zoey came and sat aside me. I tried to turn my head so he wouldn't see the tears whelming in my eyes.

Zonnique : Yes . Everything's just peachy , you can go back upstairs now.

Zoey : Don't sound like you're alright to me. What happened ?

Zonnique : Nothing

Zoey : 😑 *Sighs*

Zonnique : I just wanna be alone. Leave me alone Zoey

Zoey : I don't think I can do that until you explain to me why you're crying

I could see my mascara and eye liner rolling down my cheeks as I laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and embraced me.

Zonnique : Why do I always gotta be the bad guy ? Like Zonnique is such a bad person.

Zoey : You're not a bad person. You're a loving and caring person

Zonnique : Psh. I guess you can say that because I care about you huh ?

Zoey : That too , *Laughing* but you've always been a caring person. I can tell by how long it took you to leave Chas

Zonnique : And to think y'all were best friends ..

Zoey : Hey .. It wasn't my intentions on taking you from him . I just didn't like the way he treated you

Zonnique : Taking me ? Oh you took me from him huh ?

Zoey : That's not exactly what I meant .

Zonnique : Whatever

Zoey : I just .. No one deserves to be treated the way he treated you

Zonnique : Oh and you did a better job than him ?

Zoey : I know I hurt you , I can say this a million times over . I made a mistake , and I'm sorry .

Zonnique : Mhmm

Zoey : I thought we wasn't gonna bring it up again ?

Zonnique : Zoey we both know I'm still mad at you for what you done . We both know you can't take it back

Zoey : 😞

He laid is head up against mines and squeezed me into a tighter embrace.

Zonnique : I have to go

Zoey : Where are you going ?

Zonnique : To buy you some new clothes .. That tank top does make you look gay *Laughing*

Zoey : *Laughing* Wow .. Thanks

I guess laughing was the only way I could stop crying . Maybe I didn't forgive him , but at least I'm being a good friend . I'm proving to him that even after he hurt me , I'm still here . I'm still going to ride for him like I promised I would. And I never break my promises
