Today is the day
It's makes two years
And yet it doesn't seem so long
I miss you terribly
I can't explain how I feel
I just wish none of it was real
I wish you were still here
Words will never be enough to express the pain.
You seem to be so far away
If only you could have stayed a little while longer.

This poem is for my paw paw who passed away two years ago. It's been hard. It never gets easier. I wrote this in February of 2018.
