Heart of a princess (pt 1)

At the park

I was a sitting on a pinic table as Kyle brought the food. His sister was playing on some swings and I was in charge of watching her. Max pulled a cooler to the table. Bryan brought the bund and chips. I jumped off the table as they laid stuff down. 

I  ran to Emily, Kyle's sister. She asked me to push her. I heard her giggle as I pushed. I watched Kyle and the boys set up to play football in the open field. The other couples set up the large pinic table while the younger kids played. 

Emily lead me to a merry-go-round. I placed her inside and ran as fast as I could. Being that the full moon is tonight it was  pretty fast. I jumped on behind her to make sure she didn't fall off. 

"Look at me Kylee!!" She screamed as we went spun past him. 

He glanced up and smiled at us which caused him to miss the pass. I laughed as he ran to us. He jumped on wrapping his arms around me. The pack followed jumping on. Bryan pushed us so it didn't slow down under the weight. He jumped on when it got faster wrapping around Becca.

"Kylee, I'm scared." Emily said grabbing his arm. 

 "Hold on to her." He growled and jumped off. 

He reached and grabbed the bar of the merry-go-round. He pulled it. It dragged him for like a half a second as he stopped it. It showed how strong he was because we was going so far it was almost a blur. Then went to a dead stop. 

Emily screamed as the impact slung her forward. I wrap my arms tighter around her and the bar. Bryan jumped off walking over to Kyle.

"What the hell man?"

"My five year old sister is on there your big buffoon!" Kyle yelled 

Emily slipped through my grasp and ran to Kyle with tears in her eyes. I could tell see was afraid. I jumped off and knelled beside her. She wrapped her little arms around me. I patted her hair. Whispering sweet things in her ear trying to calm her down. 

"it's alright. Your safe, Emily." I kissed her forehead.

Kyle was a little smaller then Bryan. But where Kyle was lacking was all muscle. I really couldn't see how Bryan turn Becca on. I mean he was all muscle and no brain. I like my men a little smarter if you know what I mean. Bryan looked like one of those football players that the sick in front of the quaterback to block the other team. That was it. Kyle was more like a quaterback. Sexy and powerful at the same time.

Kyle glanced at me and smiled. He was readung my thoughts. I blushed and ducked my face in Emily's hair. Why do you have to be in my head? I asked in my mind knowing he could hear well.

"Sorry man. I wasn't thinking." Bryan said looking down at tearful eye Emily.

"Dude you really need to think before you something stupid." Kyle said turning back to the pack.

Kyle's mother yelled out over to us for us to come eat. Kyle bent down and picked Emily up. He carried her on his shoulders and I followed while he held onto her ankles so she didn't fall. She giggled the whole way to the table. 

I loved seeing him like that. How he trreated his sister. Made me think he was going to be a great dad some day. I let that thought go. It was way to soon to think about that. I mean come on here it was wednesday and I just met the guy on Friday. Talk about trashy. 

We sat down to eat. Max sat at the end of the table. Kyle sat on one side of him. His mother sat across from him on the other side. I sat beside Kyle. Becca sat beside m with Bryan. Bryan's parents sat beside Kyle's mother. Austin,was betta of the pack.

I was stil learning the rest of the packs name.

"Listen up." Max said standing up. "We held this meeting in light that Cassie has joined our pack." 

His voice was strong and deep and carried through out the whole table. I felt kyle lay a hand on my knee, as Max continued.  

"She is the heir to the European pack, lune da sang. She was entrusted in me and my son Kyle who we now know is his true mate. Being so tonight is Cassie first full moon. She will need the power of the whole pack. We welcome our home and heart to the princess." He raised his glass to me.

"Does that mean Kyle will be Alpha of the Europe clan?" Someone whispered  at the otherr end of the table,

"If that is what Cassie wishes." Kyle took my hand.

"Eat for the the full moon will be apon us and we need Cassie to be full before the change takes her." Max said with a smile that would light anyone heart. 

~~hey guys I know this is super short but I want the first shift to be nothing but the first full moon between Cassie and Kyle. Maybe that was a spoiler lol
