Lillianna gasped softly as she stepped into the clearing it was beautifully decorated, small coloured lights hung in the trees ready for when it got too dark to be out, lanterns were also placed on tables Kyle's father hovered over his wife as he watched her and the other females finishing up the food.

No one noticed Lillianna's arrival until Kyle opened his big mouth, "Presenting Birthday Girl Lillianna Brennen" he said softly though his voice carried through the clearing easily at once everyone stopped and bowed their heads respectfully, this caused Lillianna to hit Kyles arm,

"Idiot" she mumbled to him before smiling at her fellow pack members, "There's no need for any of the head bowing, I'm not your Alpha" she said quietly though one of the elders heard her and shook his head,

"Miss Brennen, we do this out of respect for yourself and your family" he stated before glancing around, Lillianna was very aware that all eyes were on her as the old man spoke "It's your 16th, we understand that Alpha and Luna Brennen are not available to you on this special day. Allow us the honour of sharing it with you and to make you happy, I remind you as we once did your sister, no matter the outcome today you will be a respected member of the Alpha family and your life and happiness will always be of great importance to us!" he stated, clearly everyone in the pack agreed with his words as they clapped and voiced their agreement, Lillianna smiled her eyes slightly filling with tears she'd been young when her sister went through her 16th and she had always thought that the pack didn't want her sister around and that was the reason for her leaving.

"Thank you" she whispered loud enough for them all to hear "All I want today is for you to forget my title and relax around me and not worry about what you say to me" she said softly as she blinked back her tears, seeing nods of agreement she walked over to Kyle's mother "Anything i can do to help?" she asked softly, her words caused everyone to go back to the small jobs they were doing before her arrival.

Kyles mother nodded "Of course Lilli, could you place the bowls over on that main table?" she asked with a smile, Lillianna nodded and picked the bowls up carrying them across the clearing.

Lillianna spent most of her day receiving gifts from her pack members and birthday wishes, she smiled and thanked each person, the teens in her pack relaxed up and Lillianna joined their conversations much more easily than before, she danced and enjoyed her birthday with those who cared about her, she almost didn't notice her parents absence.

As the sun started to set Lillianna felt a sharp pain through her stomach, she gritted her teeth and wrapped her arms around her waist as she bent over from the pain, Kyle had been watching her his eyes widened as he saw the first signs of her inheritance he opened up his pack mind-link 'Father!' he panicked as he hurried over to Lillianna's side.

Instantly all eyes were on Kyle as he bent down next to Lillianna, the women took all children under the age of 16 away from the clearing claiming it was time for relaxing and settling down for bed, they received many complaints but children followed their mothers anyway.

Teenagers and men started moving tables as a whimper of pain escaped Lillianna's mouth, she heard and felt the fire in her legs as the first breaks happened she squeezed her eyes closed and gritted her teeth against the pain, her blood wouldn't let her show her weakness something she'd been trained since birth to do, hide any sign of weakness.

"Lillianna pay attention to me" came Kyle's fathers voice, Lillianna nodded her agreement as the next breaks happened Lillianna could do nothing about the cry of pain which came from her, "Stop fighting the change Lillianna it will hurt more" his words caused a growl to escape her lips sending her into shock, did she really just growl at someone?

There was many chuckles of laughter heard as Lillianna's eyes snapped open with her shock, while in shock Lillianna had relaxed enough for her body to stop fighting the change, Lillianna screamed with pain as each break caused a stronger feeling of fire around her body, she clearly felt her muscles stretching to their new form, the bones re-bending and moulding themselves to fit her wolf.
