~Inheritance~

"Briianna?" he asked his voice dangerously calm and cold, Briianna turned to her father fear flashing through her eyes as she took in his angry frame and the way his body shook slightly as he clenched and unclenched his fists,

"Daddy, i didn't!" she said softly her eyes showing nothing but truth, she saw her father calm slightly and took that time to grab her Nanna's chocolate cake off the table by her side and threw it at her brothers "What the hell were you thinking?" she screamed at them, as she picked up another piece and threw it at them once again, she watched as Andrew ducked causing the cake to miss and hit her Nanna. The room seemed to freeze as everyone looked to Nanna,

"What a waste of cake" she frowned wiping it from her cheek before smirking up at Briianna and picking up and paper bowl of jelly, before throwing it straight for a shocked Briianna. That's when the fun started at the barbecue, the O'Keefe family kept their messy birthday tradition and food went flying from one person to another, the house was covered in anything they could get their hands on, paint, cream, jelly, cake, sauces.

Briianna watched amused and finally enjoying her 16th birthday she could always count on her family changing the tradition a little....

Lillianna Brennen stood in front of her mirror, both her parents were away on business as the Alpha's daughter her birthday was known by the whole pack, this meant they all watched her today especially it's her 16th birthday all were curious wither she would have her fathers inheritance and become a werewolf or would she possibly gain her mothers human inheritance.

She didn't want her mothers, she'd been brought up around werewolves she had the training to take her fathers place, but that could only happen if she gained her fathers inheritance, her older sister had her mothers so people mostly assumed that Lillianna would be the same.

She'd been sitting in front of the same mirror since she awoke glancing at the colour of her eyes waiting for them to change from their natural grey colour to either the bright green of a werewolf or brown of a human, Her sister had left the pack in order to have a normal life, it was known by everyone that Natasha didn't want to be apart of the supernatural world no matter who her parents were.

A knocking of the mansion door pulled her eyes from the mirror she sighed frustrated as she pushed away from her dressing table and went to open the door, there stood Kyle the Beta's son and her personal guard, his birthday was a few weeks ago it was still strange to see him with the stricking green eyes which pronounced him as a werewolf.

"Miss Brennen" he nodded greeting her formally, with a role of her eyes she smiled her frustration being pushed aside,

"Kyle, it's Lillianna or Lilli, please stop calling me Miss Brennen" she complained wrinkling her nose, the formal title made her feel old. With a small laugh Kyle shrugged,

"Come on Lillianna, the pack have done you a small party to celebrate your coming of age" he said softly a shine in his green eyes, Lillianna frowned she knew a small party meant the whole pack and that wasn't what Lillianna classed as small.

"Fine, let me change" she stated before stepping back from the door and gesturing him inside "get yourself a drink or something while you wait, there's cake in the fridge" she mumbled as she rushed up the stairs with his advanced hearing Lillianna knew he'd hear her.

Looking through her closet Lillianna settled on her green summer dress, she matched that with her white sandals and paired her necklace of her family's crest with it, glancing in her mirror once again before she left she noted no change in her eye colour and slammed her bedroom door shut with her anger,

"KYLE! Let's go" she yelled as she roughly pulled the door open, she heard his hurried footsteps and he caught up with her, they walked the short way through the forest to where the pack meetings were held.
