Lies Within

The First Day

Janise pov

I walk inside the building of my new job. I've been tranfered from New York to Quantico Virginia to work for the BAU.

The Behavioural Analysis Unit. My father used to work for the team, and has told me a lot about my new team members.

He mentioned a very intellectual Doctor working in the team, and told me I would become very close to him. Saying I quote, " Him and you are very similar, maybe something with blossom between the two of you."

I just snorted and shook my head, mumbling about my father's craziness.  I actually remember them ( the team)  from the times I would visit my father, when I was just a little girl. They probably wouldn't have remembered me, since I stayed in his office most of the time.

Sitting in my fathers big chair, spinning in circles as I laugh from the air whipping my face. Or I would be with Penelope in her little tech office just watching her work her magic.

I had looked at her with awe as she typed away on her computers to come up with so much knowledge about each suspect and the crimes committed.

But then I was taken away from father and put into custody of my big brother.  He was already trying to start his own family, but had to take care of me as well.

We had never spoken about father, probably because big brother thought father cared more about his job then us.

I sigh as I look around seeing the halls of many people running around or talking with each other. I awkwardly shift as my eyes glaze over the room as I try to locate Arron Hotchner.

" Who is the new member? Are they nice? What is their name? Maybe I can do a background check before they come," A feminine voice asked as they express their concerns over the new member.

I bite my lower lip to hold back a laugh. I then let out a small cough to grab their attention. I saw the blonde women stiffen and turns around with a nervous smile.

My eyes widen slightly, that no one would have noticed as I recognized who this women was.

Penelope Garcia

I laugh it off as I glance over my team to see the same people I've met when I was little.

Derek Morgan, chocolate thunder.
Emily Prentess, secretive.
Dr. Spencer Reid, smartest guy.
That must be David Rossi, my fathers first partner.

" Im so sorry. I was just asking because I was really nervous. I wasn't saying anything bad about you or anything, " She began to ramble making me laugh quietly. I place my hands on her shoulders,  staring into her eyes as I give her a friendly smile.

" It's Okay, Garcia. I understand that you were worried," I said as the team introduced themselves to me. I glance up as I see Hotch. I mumble an apology as I jog a bit to meet up with him.

He sees me and smiles softly at me. I laugh as I open my arms and wrap my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.

" It's good to see you, Aaron. Its been too long. How's Jack?" I asked, titling my head as a small smile makes it across my face.

" He's good. It's been a while now. I cant believe you've grown so much. How's your father, haven't heard from him in a while since...," He trailed off giving me a look.

I chuckle nervously as I rub the back of my neck. " Haha....he's good. You know travelling, doing his thing." 
Aaron looks at his team and makes a motion to go to the conference room.

We all trail into the conference room to get a briefing of the case. We then got onto the jet heading to a small town in Rhode Island.

" Team this is the new agent, Janise Ackerman. She's the youngest person to have join this team now. Garcia, the case," Aaron said, emotionlessly.

Gracia nods and the screen began ti change to show the pictures that was taken.

" A women's body was found in a pit with...uh..her heart cut out," Garcia said a bit grossed out, showing the diffrent crime scenes. 

I look to see a small pattern that no one would have noticed. " Wait, go back," I mumbled as I get up and see the item that was left at a crime scene.

" There. It's right there. Charm. The suspect dropped a charm at every murder. Did they find them?" I asked as I know why the unsub left a charm.

" Uh, yes there was different number of charms that was found."

I looked at the nine different charms and let out a small gasp.

" I thought so. " I said as I began to think. I then glanced at Aaron as he pairs us off and tell us where to go.

My eyes widen slightly as I'm paired up with Reid. I smile softly at him as I see he's nervous.

We began to make our way to the first crime scene. There was a bit of commotion, but we made it through easily.

A girl was walking by herself, arms wrapped around her waist as she was shivering. Tha day it just happened to rain after a month of warm, sunny days.

She sighs, knowing she should have taken her friend up on that offer to get a ride.

In the shadows there was a man watching her with curiously. He had been watching her for so long,  and decided this was his chance.

'She would make the perfect Aurora.' He grinned as she had fallen making him strike. Using the rain to hos advantage he slowly makes his way to her. He wraps his arm around her waist, letting her be able to at least call for help once. 

" Help! " She cried, but his hand muffled her cries as he knocks her out.
