Wow thanks for those reviews. Now here is chapter two. Don't worry, things should get more exciting eventually!

Chapter Two: Always Punished

Thanks to Elvira, I was stuck in the tent all day and night. She argued with my parents that letting go to the game was even worse than leaving me in the tent all day. So they changed their minds and told me I had to miss out on the game as punishment for returning four hours too late last night. Yeah right. Like I was going to sit still and miss out on watching the Quidditch World Cup. My family left me to go meet up with some of my father's work friends. They warned me Elvira or Dane would be passing by frequently to make sure I obeyed. So I settled for dragging out a chair from the kitchen and sitting right out in front of the tent. This way I 'technically' still was at my tent, yet I was able to be around people. Sighing, the sight of ash blonde hair passing by caught my attention. "Dasha!" I called out. She sharply turn, I noticed she had watery eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing," she said while walking over to me. She was wiping away a tear from her eye and smiling as if nothing was wrong. I gave her a look as if I knew something was wrong. "Okay, fine. I just saw Zane with Adelaide, the girl he..." Her eyes watered once more.

"I know, Eowyn told me you don't have to say it."

"Yeah." Dasha nodded. "Well, I didn't even think he'd be here but I should have expected it. And he brought her of course. I'm so stupid, I should have expected it." I've never seen her so upset over anything.

"Dasha you're far from stupid." I could tell her about all of the stupid things I have done to make her feel better.

"Anyways, this girl goes to Spellman Institute of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Melbourne, right near where Zane lives. Can you believe that? Plus, he is transferring to that school! His father pulled some strings with the Headmaster so that he could be closer to home." Dasha stopped talking. We both just sat there, I wanted to change the subject.

"So who do you thinks going to win tonight?" I asked her.

"Well if I don't say Ireland, Eowyn will kill me." I laughed, that was true. "Bulgaria has a pretty talented seeker though."

"Krum," I interrupted with a nod. I heard enough about him from Gabe last night. Dasha nodded in agreement. "I guess we'll have to wait and see then." That part was going to become true. I had to find a way to get into this game. Dasha's parents came by and she left with them. They invited me to come to their pre-party party, but I lied and said I was waiting for someone.

Sitting around outside my tent, I was almost falling asleep in my chair when someone caught my attention. "Ron!" I called standing up. Bright red hair was hard to miss in a packed crowd. Ron turned on his heel and spotted me. I saw he was with Harry and Hermione. I should have expected to see them pass. I stood up to hug them all. "How are you guys?"

"We're great Carlie, how are you?" Hermione said. She looked a little older than I remembered. She was wearing just a touch of makeup and had her hair clipped neatly on the side. "Glad to see you here, have good seats I suppose?" She said while eyeing the big tent behind me.
