(a Hermione Granger and Theodore Nott story)

Chapter 6

Hermione P.O.V

We sat down behind our tables waiting for Professor Slughorn to arrive. To be honest the Slytherins are funny, smart and nice. But I never thought I would ever get along with them. Pansy was basically a bully through my earlier years at Hogwarts. But once I got to know her she was funny and caring. She still had a pug-like face. Blaise and I really had nothing to do with each other but he is the most funniest person I've met this year. Astoria was very pretty and had long, brown, silky hair. She makes her own potions for her hair. Draco is still a prat but at least we were talking, that's something new. And Theo. Well Theo is practically my best friend beside Ginny and Harry. He cares about my feelings. And I care about his.

"Today, in your pairs I put you in, you will be making the polyjuice potion. This potion will take a month to make but I know each of you can do it.'' Slughorn said.

We all made our way over to our cauldrons and turned our books to the right page. I have made this potion once before and Ron and Harry said it worked. I know mine didn't, I turned into a large cat. That was not fun.

Theo started adding ingredients while I stirred. Ours was coming along nicely. We added the last ingredients for the day and packed up. Slughorn let us go early. We slowly made our way down the hill towards Hagrids hut. Soon our whole class was down here.

"So today we will be trying to find a unicorn in the forbidden forest. And don't   worry you  will be put in to groups of 4. Alright. Ron, Lavender, Ginny and Harry. Um.... Dean, Seamus, Luna and Neville. Last Theo, Hermione, Pansy, Astoria, Blaise, Draco you will be a group of 6. If there are any problems I will change the groups. Ok any problems?''

"Yeah, why would you put Hermione with those five nitwits?'' Ron asked.

"Well I'm sure she doesn't want to go with you.'' Draco spat and gave him a famous Malfoy smirk.

Ron stood there unable to say anything. Draco did have a point. I really didn't want to go with him. Anyway my group is the best.

We all headed into the forest and parted and went in separate directions. We have been in the forest for 15 minutes and we were already bored. The boys went and sat under a tree and us girls sat a bit further away to talk.

"So Hermione do you like anyone different yet?'' Pansy asked wanting a reply straight away.

I thought hard. Who did I like now? Do I even like someone? I looked around at the trees trying to think of a good answer.  Soon my eyes focused on Theo. He was smart, funny, nice and just adorable. I think I like Theo. That's not a bad thing. I could do a lot worse.

"It's Theo, isn't it?'' Pansy said. Astoria nodded.

I felt a blush creep on my checks and I desperately tried to hide it.

"It is!'' Astoria yelled. I swear half of Britain would of heard that.

"SSHHHH, maybe, fine it is." I said.

"That's so cute,'' Pansy said. " We have to set yous up."

"No not now I just broke up with Ron.''

"Fine.''

We just talked about girlie stuff until Hagrid set a flare which meant we had to go back to his hut. We all got up, brushed the dirt off our butts and made our way back. As we were walking Pansy knocked me into Theo. I shot a glare in her direction but she just laughed.

"Sorry, Teddy.'' I said.

"All good. Watch where ya going.'' he said and bumped me and I almost tripped and fell.

"Hey!"

I ran after Theo and chased him through the trees. The smell of pine wafted and lingered in the air. Pine needles carpeted the dirt beneath our feet. Soon he began to slow down and I pushed him over. He grabbed my arm and I went down too. The others caught up to us. Pansy made a little love heart with her hands and I felt a blush creep on my checks. We got up and headed out of the forest.

We were walking up to the great hall for dinner.

" We could all go to Hogsmeade tomorrow.'' Blaise suggested. We all agreed and decided we would meet at the front gate at 10 tomorrow morning. We all had our dinner. I ate with the Slytherins again. Me and Theo made our way up to our common room and dorm and went to bed.

I woke up again screaming. Why wont these nightmares stop. Theo came in. All he was wearing was Pyjama pants. He had a perfect toned body. His arms wrapped around my waist. I slid my arms around him.

"Can you stay with me again tonight?'' I asked.

He nodded and slid under the covers. I snuggled into his side and he wrapped his arms around me.

"Night Teddy.'' I whispered.

" Night 'Mione."

Theo P.O.V

I was laying on my bed half asleep when I heard a scream coming from 'Mione's room. I got up and raced to her room and pulled her in for a hug. She hugged back.

"Can you stay with me again tonight?'' she asked.

I nodded my head and slid under the covers. She snuggled into my side and I wrapped my arms around here.

"Night Teddy.'' She whispered.

"Night 'Mione.''

Soon Hermione was asleep and I was just thinking. Why would anyone cheat on Hermione? Why would anyone want to? I know I would never cheat on her, never. I wish I could hold her, hug her, kiss her and for her to be mine. I rarely feel this way about a girl but with Hermione it feels right.

You wouldn't believe this but it took my an hour to write this.

I think this story is getting better.
