Finally... finally... It is the day I finally get to sing with the big leagues. As the goddaughter of Buster Moon, I wasn't the most liked person in the town, but I was a great singer. At least... that's what Mom used to say. Today, I wear a dress with leggings. The dress is a short sleeved sweater dress that has dark purple stripes with Black. The shiny black belt at my waist tops it off with black tights and black, high heeled ankle boots. A tan coloured pair of ears twitches nervously on my head. I would be singing the ballad of Mona Lisa, and I tend to get... lost in song.
The bell rings as the animals line up. I am the last in line, right behind a gorilla that I have never seen before. He has scruffy, fluffy black hair. His ears stick out of it in an almost cute way. The male's eyes are a deep chocolate brown and his skin is a tanned chocolate milk. My eyes scan the tall male, at least 6'2, over. It is my job to be a talent scout. He looks attractive enough. I can only imagine what his voice would be like.
Luckily, he doesn't notice, and is already long gone by the time I make it up on stage, or so I think. The music starts, my godfather smiling up at me with a proud smile. My foot starts tapping as I close my eyes 'Just let it go' I think, my mouth moving silently to the last few notes before my E/C eyes snap open and sound comes out. Swaying to the music of the artist, I sing. The world isn't there. The wrinkly old assistant Uncle Buster had hired isn't staring at me in awe, I am alone, in my old room, blasting music. My H/L, H/C hair moves a bit as I spin and sway my hips.
The last note sounds, and I sigh with a small smile. Clapping sounds in my ears, but it wasn't two people... The applause also comes from someone in the back. We all notice it, and look back to see the gorilla that had intimidated me earlier, clapping while leaning against the wall. He heaves himself up, one hand in his leather jacket's pocket.
"Nice job, Y/N" He says with a reassuring, and absolutely dazzling smile. I can't find words. My mouth opens, but all that come out was a small, nervous whimper. My legs are shaking and my tan, fluffy tail is tucked.
The black haired male waves and chuckles a bit as he goes out the door. As soon as he leaves, my body is on the ground, tail now swaying slowly in a pleased fashion. Face down, I hear footsteps, and Uncle Buster is patting my head gently.
"Do you know that Johnny fellow?" He asks quietly, obviously concerned as his soft fingers made it's way through my hair. I shake my head, thus shaking out his hand.
I slowly get up, tail wagging happily still. I'm a little taller than Uncle Buster, but still pretty short. I run a hand through my hair and grab my bag, going backstage to wait with the others.
------Time skip------
I made it! I actually made it. I was singing on stage with Ash, Gunter, Rosita, Mike, and most excitingly, Johnny. That gorilla made it much easier to get into the contest. His accent was a little off-putting, but it made him better. Despite the size difference, he's actually very kind towards me. I'm helping him with piano, now. He keeps getting one note wrong. At this point I'm practically moving his fingers for him, my hand on top of him, showing him what to do until he gets.
I hum quietly, slowly removing my hands to let him play on his own. It's good. A C G G B- I cringe as the chord slips and there's a loud thud. He's closed the piano and is growling to himself. I roll my E/C orbs and lean against the wall.
"Calm down, Johnny. You'll get it." I promise, slightly annoyed with how easily frustrated he is. There's something about him, but as he looks up at me with an exasperated, tired look that basically said 'Easy for you to say' I knew I couldn't stay mad for long. I roll my eyes again and push him off the seat with a little bit of struggle, sitting in his place. The seat is still warm from all the blood-boiling anger and frustration he had felt a few moments ago.
A soft sigh escapes my lips as fingers settle on the keys, slowly tracing the first few notes and then returning.
"Y/N, what the actual-" He was cut off by the music. I started playing and the music was almost perfect. My eyes were closed and my hair was pinned out of my face by a red pin. After the first few chords, including the one he had missed, my fingers come to a stop. His eyes were visibly wide, "You know how to play Piano?" He asked in disbelief. I shyly nodded my head, taking the pin out and letting my bags fall.

A/N: Hey! I know this is weird way to end the chapter, but I honestly can't think of anything else. Sorry. I hope you like it anyway.
