Courting and Other Things Katsuki Sucks at (boyxboy)

Prologue

A/n This is my first time writing in a long time and my first time writing fanfiction so if anyone reads this please go easy on me.

A five year old Katsuki didn't know what to call it at first all he knew is that his cheeks got red whenever his friend Izuku got close to him or laughed or smiled, anything really as long as it was directed at him. That's why when Midoriya told him he made a new friend he was less then pleased.

"Kacchan he was so nice he gave me a cookie from his lunch and asked if we could be friends and I said yes his name's Tachi so now I have two friends and his quirk hasn't shown up either..." Izuku kept rambling as he Katsuki walked home together.

But all Katsuki could think of is who this other kid was and how he could think that Izuku needed more friends. "Deku you don't need other friends you have me the most awesome hero that'll ever be." Katsuki interrupted.

Izuku giggled "I know Kacchan but having a lot of friends isn't bad."

Katsuki pouted but didn't say anything else the explosive five year old had to think of something to keep his friend to himself and technically with those other two kids who followed him around but they were more background characters then anything. Soon enough they were at their respective houses so Katsuki figured he'd sleep on it and come up with something in the morning.

By lunchtime the next day Katsuki knew what he would do he'd scare the other kid off let him know Deku was his friend only. He managed to get Izuku in trouble with the teacher to give him time to scare the kid and not have Izuku find out and be mad at him.

It didn't take long to find this Tachi kid he was outside apparently finished eating and looked a little pudgey and plain looking exactly how Izuku said he looked like the other day. He had his two minions follow Katsuki figured having three people would make him seem even scarier. Katsuki tried out his quirk before heading over to make sure he didn't have a dud which happened sometimes luckily not Infront of the other kids.

"Hey kid is your name Tachi?" Katsuki asked scowling

"U.. uh yeah." Tachi said scared of these three bigger kids.

"Well I'm here to tell you to leave Izuku alone he has all the friends he needs so you can find someone else." Katsuki said liking the kid even less in person then from Izuku's description.

"B... But that's not for you to say." Said Tachi unwilling to lose his first friend.

At that Katsuki got mad and went to push the other kid down but then figured it'd be better to use his quirk so he held out his hand in front of the the others face and summoned a tiny explosion causing the pudgey boy to flinch and fall backwards.

"Tachi!" A familiar shout came from the other end of the playground.

Izuku came running in front of his fallen friend.

"Kacchan why are you being so mean!?" The emerald haired boy questioned.

Katsuki was getting angry how could Izuku defend some kid he just met over him. So he went over and pushed him and then stood back.

"Whatever your just a quirk-less wannabe hero!" Katsuki said angrily.

That was the first time Katsuki saw Deku cry his green eyes being brought out in a way that Katsuki had no other way to describe it but pretty, he vowed at that moment no one else would see Izuku cry but him.
