(kenzie's pov)
*It's my first day here at Claire academy and I'm so nervous, nervous that I won't fit in, or people won't like me, or I won't get good enough grades. Since I'm joining at the middle of the semester I'm probably going to be the center of attention any way...sadly. I am walking to my first class of the day and I'm already late. All the classroom doors are shut and teachers have already started to teach, my first class is world history. I knock on the door and have to wait like five minutes before some girl with straight blond hair and pretty blue eyes came and opened the door*
T: ah, yes miss. Ziegler. I see you found your way to my class!
K: yes sir, sorry I was late I jus-
T: no excuses please. Find a seat, you will be sitting there for the rest of the year.
K: OK. * I look around the room to find a seat but only one was open so I obviously had to sit there, it was between the girl who opened the door. Who looked beyond excited and welcoming. Then there was a brunette boy, he looked cute and kinda like a jerk and way outta my league* I make my way to the seat and sit down. I could literally feel everybody's eyes following my every move*
L: hi, "miss. Ziegler" I'm Lauren but you can call me Laur!
K: *I chuckle at her attempt of a joke by some what mocking the teacher* hi, I'm Mackenzie but you can call me Kenz or Kenzie!
L: cool, this is Johnny or John for short....my brother * she says as she points to the brunette boy beside me. I turn and nervously wave and show a small smile* hi, I'm k-
J: Kenzie, I know. I can hear everything you say I'm literally less than two feet away from you. *He says rolling his eyes like a total know it all*
