Fear. The pumping of the blood in your veins, pounding in your ears as you run or hide or cry. The thump of your heart in your chest. Sweat pouring down your face, stinging your eyes. The very air you breath burning your lungs with every quick gasp. Trembling limbs and lost voice. The thoughts in the back your head telling you that you're dying, either literally or figuratively. That is fear.
Nerves making you jittery. Insecurities making you hide. Pushing you. Making you strive to stay I the light. That is also fear. Just a different kind. Fear of inadequacy.
Fear is in all of us. But will it rule us, or make us better?
