"Have a good day darling" I Hurd my mother shout from the sitting room as I walked out the door. I wasn't too nervous but I had a big butterfly in my stomach which mad me feel almost ill. It was a blistering hot day in the middle of July so I was wearing some shorts and a plain white t and some teal vans hopping I wouldn't get too hot as I'm still not used to this heat as I am a British girl and it's never this hot over there. I stopped at the buss stop waiting for the school buss, in the mean time I might as well make some friends I thought to myself I walked over to this girl who looked lonely
"Hey" I said shyly
"Oh hi" she replied "are you new?" She asked quite quick
"How did you know that?" I said with a questionable tone of voice
"Oh I'm sorry I'm very nervous around new people you see I'm the nerd of the school so when someone thinks to talk to me I'm very questionable" she sed with a sorry sound in her voice
"Don't be so worried I want to be your friend" I said to her "Anyways my names is Millie what's yours?"
"Oh how rude of me, my name is Kate" she answered
"Well nice to meet you Kate" I said feeling a bit less nervous now I had someone to talk to if I had any problems , "isn't that the school buss?" I asked
"Yes it is let's go" she answered
