Red Velvet

Chapter 1

Sharna looked around and for the first time this tour she felt a little lonely. Emma and Sasha were hanging out together as were Lindsay and Sam. Haley and Britt went shopping together. The rest of the guys, Keo, Alan, Artem, Gleb and Rashad went to the gym. And Sharna was on her own, in the bus.

At first she didn't mind, she had lots of stuff to do and work to finish. She even decided to clean the bus. But when it was finished, she felt alone. And she would like to talk to someone or walk around town with someone. It wasn't that the cast disliked her or that they weren't friends, but Sharna didn't have her soulmate to spend the day with.

On the other tours she was either with Val, Peta or Jenna as her close friends, but none of those friends were with her on tour now.

Sharna decided that she was going to walk around the city on her own. She had enough of the bus. But just after she was ready, the door of the bus opened. And Artem walked in.

"Hey Shar, you still here?"

"Yes, I was about to go walk around the city. What are you doing here?"

"I was done with my workout for the day. So I headed back to the bus. Shall I come with you?"

"You would like that?" Sharna had said it, before she thought about it.

"Yes off course. I just need to change, give me a minute."

Sharna waited for Artem and he came out not much later.

"Ready to go?" He asked. He hooked his arm with Sharna's and together they walked into the city.

"So where you want to go?" Artem asked.

"I haven't really thought about it yet. I was just thinking to walk around, maybe head into some shops or something."

"Hmmm," Artem said. "I have an idea."

Artem pulled Sharna with him towards one of the smaller streets. They walked around one of the most beautiful parts of the town Sharna had ever seen.

"Wow," she said. Sharna looked around. "This is really beautiful. How did you know this?"

"I've been here before and I remembered this, so when you said you wanted to walk around. I thought this might be a good place."

They continued their walk a little longer, until Artem pulled Sharna with him again.

"Where are we going now?" Sharna asked.

"A really amazing restaurant."

And indeed Artem was right. He guided Sharna to a cozy restaurant, hidden away from the road. Artem pulled back a chair and allowed Sharna to sit down first, before he sat down himself. They both ordered a coffee. And while they waited for their coffee they started talking.

"So," Artem said, "How are you and Pierson doing?"

Artem had just opened the conversation about the only subject Sharna didn't want to talk about. But now she had no choice.

"We broke up," she said.

"Really?! When? Why didn't you tell me?" He sounded really sweet when he said that, something Sharna did not expect, at all.

"We broke up a couple of weeks ago. Just after our visit to Indy. It just wasn't working at that moment."

Sharna didn't want to say too much about the break-up, so she stayed quiet.

"Sorry Shar. I feel so stupid. How did I not know this before. I'm sorry Shar. I whished I had known before, maybe I could have helped you."

"Artem, don't feel sorry. I didn't want anybody to know, so I kept it quiet. Don't blame yourself for it."
