Hey, reader!
I just want you to know that I worked so very hard in writing this story and if you dare plagiarize MY story, I will send you to the appropriate authority without warning. This was one of my first stories here on wattpad so it will be a lil cringy and cliche. I'm working to revise it up to my standards. I do hope you like it and feel free to leave a vote and/or comment. Small actions like that really encourage me and help me know you're enjoying the story. Anyways, I'll let you read.
Enjoy
Much love,
Alexis

You know? Being chubby wasn't that bad. Who am I kidding? It was horrible! Being pushed and called names everyday sucked. But if it wasn't for that pushing and name calling, I never would have met my best friend, Liam Payne.
Liam and I are very close. He was the only one in school who never made fun of me. He was the only one who stuck by my side, the only one I trust. He was practically my guardian angel, and I enjoy looking back and remembering when we first met.
"Please, don't hurt me!" I sit in a little ball staring at the large boy named Morris, in front of me.
"No can do, loser. You shouldn't have gotten those few questions wrong." He glares referring to me doing his homework and purposely being incorrect.
Suddenly, a boy with a lot of hair that surrounds half of his head runs up. "Leave her alone." He says, stepping between us and the bully's scowl turns into a smug grin.
"What you gonna do about it, punk?" Morris pulls at the boy's suspenders and lets it fall back but the boy catches it.
"Last time I checked, you're on your second referral. Third one gets you outta here." He says with a whistle at the end and crossing his arms.
"You're lucky this time, ne-"
"Ah, ah, ah," The boy smirks and Morris growls before walking away. He sticks out a hand which makes me flinch. "I'm not going to hurt you, I'll never hurt you."
I look at him before taking note of the gentle glaze over his bright brown eyes. I grab his hand and he pulls me up with a bright smile.
After he lifted me up, I realize we were still holdings hands, frozen in the moment. I quickly let go and bend down to retrieve all my books.
"You're welcome by the way." He winks as I come back up, my hands full with books. He rests a hand on my shoulder, I felt my cheeks warm up as I pull away from his deep stare. He was pretty cute but would probably never fall for a girl like me.
"Y-Yeah, thanks." I stutter and push my glasses back into place.
"Liam Payne." He offers a hand for me to shake.
"Aria Roberts." I say softly, shaking his hand.
Ever since then, Liam and I have been best friends. He has always cared for me and protected me from bullies like I was part of his family.
And when he went to X-Factor and formed a group. The British- Irish boy band, as so many people know, One Direction. I was crazy ecstatic for him, and as Liam changed his life, I did too.
He was gone, and if I didn't want to be bullied, I had to change. I began doing a lot of sports and I lost weight. I underwent laser surgery to get rid of my glasses, because you can't really wear glasses when doing the sports I was doing.
