*Zorahs POV*
*dream sequence*
Crimson and the stench of burning flesh fill my nostrils. Blinding flames obscure my vision with each explosion. Everything seems to move slowly as the war continues on, growing more violent with blood spraying upon the predator claiming it's next victim, watching the life drain from its prey. The cruelty of war hits me hard, stirring emotions in which I have never felt before. Tears prick the edges of my eyes and threaten to spill. My heart longs for the families losing loved ones on the field for both sides, to put me on a battle field is a dumb idea. The commanders bark orders at me but I cannot get my feet to budge or my fingers to pull the trigger let alone get my arms to move into a position to shoot anything. That is when I spot them, the only reason I stuck around the last year through all that pain, the suffering I fought through within myself to save them, my last family members...my brothers.

"STOP!" The words left my lips before I could process a thought and I find myself standing stoic in the middle of the battle field. All attention to me, each eye strategically trained on my being. My brothers stand in the leaders vice grip with knives carefully in place against their neck. The desperation in their eyes bore into my soul begging me to help to do anything and everything. The colour drains from my face as each memory floods through my mind, every laugh, cry, fight and warm embrace.
"You stand without weapon dull creature...what do you expect to win like that against us Validors" The leaders deep voice booms through me with a dark laugh. It was as if our lives mean nothing as I watch his satisfied smile stretch across his face while the blade empties the blood from my brothers throats.

"GET TO COVER! SHE'S LOSING CONTROL" A commanding voice screams while an unexplainable rage fills every region of my being, a power surging through my blood that we all thought died years ago. Tears fall down my cheeks, black glowing veins replace where each one falls with and audible sizzle. The leaders face fills with rage and what looks to be fear as he charges towards me with a perfectly crafted sword that looks to be more an art peice than a weapon. Again everything moves slower, drawing my eyes to the leader, I see my reflection in his dark, galaxy like eyes. They glow a bright yellow where the pupil is, the rest a coal black so dark it drains the colour from ones very soul.

In one swift move I grab his art like sword, spin and stab him straight through his over sized eye, instantly killing him while everyone else falls silent once more. Each of the Validors walk to a huddle that faces myself and the rest of the Citadel's forces. Their slender, monumental stature towering over us, but useless against what brews inside me. What I assume is second in command for them let's out a demonic cry signalling for them to all charge. They trample the bodies of my brothers only infuriating me even more. I let nothing but rage and raw power consume me while watching them pumble their bodies. My defence crew sit behind any surface they deem strong enough to stand what is to come.

My gaze locks into an unblinking battle between the Validor's new leader and myself. Just before his sword reaches my chest to skewer me I blink once. It's as if the power inside me waited for movement to be released, a light so bright it burns the enemies retenas upon release surges from my body, in an instant they are all dead. Their bodies fall into piles of chunks, bones and all are able to be seen amongst the blood and guts.
