Mikes POV:
It was Monday. Sigh. Even though all I do anymore is sit downstairs on the couch,thinking about El. I know,I know,I only knew Eleven for a week. But it felt like I've known her for years. She actually wanted to hang out with,not like other girls,who are grossed out by me. Then,I heard a muffling voice saying "Mike." I didn't know who it was.
"Hello,anyone there?" I said.
Then I heard it again. "Help me,Mike." I tried convincing myself that it wasn't El,but it sounded so familiar.
"El?"I whispered softly.
"Mike....."
"El?
"ELEVEN??"
Tears strolled down my cheeks. "El...."
Then I heard screaming.
"MICHAEL,TIME FOR SCHOOL!!"
It was my mom.
"COMING!"I shout back.
I wiped my tears away quickly.
I grabbed my backpack,and headed upstairs. Time for another boring day of my life.
Nancy's POV:
Like most teenage girls(and normal people)hate Monday's,since school starts back up. But honestly,I kinda like Monday's. Weird,right? So,I did my hair,
put on my clothes,and grabbed my backpack. I headed out the door. I decided to walk today. The fresh cool fall air hit my face,as leaves of every color fell on to the concrete. As I was enjoying the nature,I heard somebody yell,"HEY NANCY!WAIT UP!!!"
I knew that voice from a mile away. It was Steve Harrington.
He is an idiot,but I love him for some reason. Stupid me. Even though the horrible,horrible things he has done to me,I still dated him. Giving him chance,after chance,after chance. Steve ran towards me.
"Didn't ya hear me?"Steve asked me.
"Yeah,I heard you. But,I knew you would catch up to me,"I responded.
"Well,I was wondering if you could come to my par-"
"I know,a party. And no,sorry. I have to study tonight,"I interrupted.
"What's wrong with ya,Nance?Last year,you went to parties almost every single day,"Steve said,obviously annoyed with me.
"That was LAST year,Steve. Now,I have to get to class,or I will be late." Then,I rushed away.
I would have bolded this part,since it's not part of the story,but it's not letting me for some reason😂So,I know this chapter sucks and it's so short,but don't worry! It'll get way better! So,hope you enjoyed the first chapter!
