I dedicate this book to my best friend and oddly my ex who I hate at the moment. These two people have inspired this book in a few ways. These two people were both the best of friends once. They spoke to each other almost everyday and they were like family. My ex, who I won't name for respect and privacy, was a very sweet and loving man but sadly, he was closed minded. My best friend wasn't. She excepted everyone and helped everyone. She, to this day, makes everyone smile and laugh. I don't know how everything started but I do know they got in an argument one day. That argument started because one of them mentioned me. I don't remember if I've said anything about it but I am transgendered. I go by male pronouns. My ex doesn't think that trans people deserve pronouns like he or she because that isn't our assigned gender. Don't start getting triggered yet because, it get worse. I'm not going to get into detail since some of the things he said are offensive and disrespectful. He began to say things about gays and people with mental disorders. Him and my best friend are no longer friends and I am very proud of her for sticking up for what she believes in and being the stronger, more mature person. Also, this book will also be a twist on the novel and movie, Something Like Summer, by Jay Bell. I highly recommend this movie and novel to anyone who likes gay shit as much as I do. I just wanted you guys to have an idea on what this book is about and how much it means to me. I hope you enjoy it. To my best friend, if you're reading this now, I love you. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm so glad you came back to me when you did because without you, I don't think I'd be here right now writing this for you. You are my everything and I'm so glad you are who you are and I hope you never change for and woman because you are amazing in every way. I love you Paige. I can't wait to see you again. You too Monique. I know you're gonna bitch to me about how I don't love you since I didn't write a story about you but hold onto your titties bitch. It's coming.
