As hearts fall broken
And I can't help to hear
The promises and words spoken
Fall apart and confirm my fear
As I lay in my bed
Walls screaming distant memories
Emotions rush through my head
Fear, pain, sorrow, and agony
I try to get up from my oppression
But the weight bears down on my soul
The feelings of doubt and depression
Weigh on me after acts so cruel
After long and painful weeks
Do I finally arise
To try to piece together the meek
Pieces of my heart left behind by the lies.
