Just Friends // RoadTrip Fanfic

1. A while

Larisa's POV

I look at my phone excitedly. I will finally get to meet him after years of chatting. I had been texting a boy since we were both 15. We're 18 now and he is in a boyband of 5. His name....jack. Just from texting I have grown to have feelings for him but I don't know if he has feelings for me. I look up at my three best friends sitting on my bed staring at me.

"Are you nervous?" My one friend, Laura asks. "IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION!?" I yell back. I am extremely nervous. They all know how I have been crushing on him ever since I was 15. I haven't dated or had feelings for anyone else since he has been in my life.

"Calm yourself." My other friend trista says with a chuckle. "Can I pick out your outfit" Krysta, my third friend asks with her hand in the air. "Sure but nothing trashy." I say with a laugh.

After long debates of what I shall wear they put me into a dress. It's light blue. It almost looks like Cinderella's gown but much shorter. It has no sparkles and has a laced up back. It's modern but beautiful. I loved it.

"Are you guys sure this isn't too much?" I asked worried about what he will think about it. My favorite color is blue and as I look at the full length mirror I remember it's his too.

"Of course it isn't!" They all say synchronizing. I laugh. "Well we got to go. We're going to get ready ourselves." Laura says for Trista, Krysta, and herself. I laugh "ok bye meet me at my house before. Got it?" I say. "Yes we know. You've told us a thousand times." Krysta says rolling her eyes. I laugh and they leave.

I look at the text on my phone again smiling. He always finds a way to make me smile but at the same time worry so much. How. I read the text one more time.

An hour later
I let out a sigh as I see Laura, Krysta, and Trista laughing and talking. They all know how excited but nervous I am. "Are you ready?" Trista asks looking at me like she thinks I'm gonna chicken out. "As ready as I will ever be." I say and take one last look at my phone and hop in my car.
