He was born in January 15, 1929, Atalanta, and died in April 4, 1968, Memphis Tennessee.  He was assassinated by a gunshot. His parents are Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams King his kids are Martin Luther King III, Dexter Scott King, Yolanda King, and Bernice King.

He stood up for all the black and wanted to end slavery. He put an end to it so everyone had a right to be free. In 1957 he was elected president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference an organization formed to provide new leadership for the now burgeoning civil rights movement.

He said his "I have a dream"  speech on august 28, 1963, the March in Washington.  there were many people that were at the Lincoln memorial. His speech is about the freedom in the nation and how it was gonna go down in history. He said that all men were crated equally and should have equal right. He said he had a dream and he said that he hopes the negro will be free.

He said that all negro men should be release from white woman and man. Also he staid that 1963 is not the end but the beginning. Martin Luther King Jr. was a American Baptist before becoming a viable spokes-person.

The thing that Martin Luther King Jr. gave to my generation is that he made it to where there was no more slaves and that there was no more blacks and whites splitting up. he set all of the blacks free so they can live a good life.
