This is the story of a male and a female god. The man was handsome, tall, strong with saffron hair, and was so great and powerful that where ever he went he blazed the skies and was worshiped by all. The woman was unearthly beautiful, with argent hair, so pure and bright.
The female god worked hard every day to become greater and brighter by the day and was firm in her beliefs that one day she would shine the brightest in the sky and be above all others, but sadly this was not meant to be as the male god was always there shinning brighter everyday as the golden globe in the sky and nothing could shine as bright, as they all would seem dim even her.
One day the male god and the female god met but surprisingly the female god never could hate him for her inability to shine and after awhile they fell in love and got married. The male god was so happy he carried his wife with him everywhere for all to see but no one truly saw her only his wife, as he glowed more and more and to the crowd she dimmed even more, after all now she was directly beside the most radiant light, the one known as the greatest source of all light with all of his glories.
Years passed and the female god started tobecome weaker as time passes, as she started to question her reason for beingas she also produced light and also could easily light up the skies but comparedto him she was so dim, but no matter what she could not blame her husband orquestion her love for him. The male god sensing his wife misery and seeing hergetting weaker and weaker, searched far and wide to find a way to make herhappy, and this would always make her smile and lift her mood but never reallyhappy.
Years after he finally found out that he was the reason for her pain, his heart started to bleed and he became just as sad, no even more as he did not even know what to do.
Knowing he was the cause of her pain and misery he went out even further to find ways to make her shine, worked even harder even if it would mean him becoming dim but nothing worked as he was just too bright and he could not even take his own life as he was eternal. One day seeing his wife hiding her pain and misery but still holding up with a smile so beautiful, he could not take it any more so he decided to leave her and travel at a pace knowing she would follow letting it be impossible for her to catch up making it so that wherever she went she was always the brightest and was worshiped by all, even later being seen as his equal in the eyes of others as wherever she was she was always the brightest.
They both traveled for thousands of years and we're always moving from place to place, causing them to have less and less contact with others until no one that knew them remained only each other. They were the only one to know each other's stories as no one even knew their real names. After thousands of years the male god came to be known as the sun and the female god came to be known as the moon, both lighting up the skies and even today she still chases him as long ago she came to realize shining alone was lonely and she only wanted her love, him "the sun" but the man kept running never meeting her hoping to make her happy and afraid to look back to find out if he made a mistake, no matter how badly his heart hurts as he chooses to let his heart die to let her shine.
