Aera's P.O.V

Your name is Gwon Aera and you are blind. That was the first thing they told me when I woke up after the 'accident'.

I can't remember anything from my life before. The doctors told me I had a family. A family that died in the same accident I became blind in. I didn't cry when I heard that. I don't remember them. I don't remember their faces, their voices or how they used to be.

Everything is gone, and all I have from my earlier life is a piece of paper. My birth certificate.

I now live with a mom and dad who love me as much as I love them. Even though they aren't my real parents, I still treat them like they were because they were the first people who really loved me after the accident.

My parents are nice people, and they even got me a dog on my birthday. Her name is Puff, and she is a dog breeded for blind people. Even if I can't see her, I can still feel her soft fur, and her cute, pointy ears.

I didn't have a lot of friends when I started going to a normal school again after the accident. People thought it was weird that I had a dog (Puff) with me in the classroom. I shortly after made my parents assign me for personal teaching, and they hired a teacher who comes three days a week to teach me anything. The teacher is a specialist with blind kids.

My new family is very rich, and our house is huge. I once were lost because I walked too far in the corridors.

My mom have always wanted me to have a friend to talk to, and sometimes she asks random (but rich) people to come over and talk to me. She even invited guys, and said that if I liked him, she would make him marry me. I had just laughed at her weird statement, but I knew that she was serious. She wanted me to marry someone I liked.

I am currently sixteen years old. I turn seventeen this year. Since I got Puff last year as a gift from my parents, I am now really excited for what they will give as a birthday gift. I don't really care that much with gifts and presents, but I like it if someone has made a gift which is practical for me, who can't see.

This morning, my mom told me I would have visitors, and that I had to dress prettily. I don't care much about my appearance, since I can't see it anyways.

I just dressed myself in the dress my mom picked out with the help of my personal maid.

I am now sitting in my room, Puff by my side, waiting for my visitors. It has been a while since I last had someone over, because when someone do come over, it often turns awkward because they don't know what to talk about.

"Your visitors have arrived," my maid said. I brushed my bangs to reassure no hair was sticking out. My hair was black, or so I was told.

I suddenly heard the doorknob turn, and I positioned myself to face the door. I heard several footsteps walk inside my room, and then it stopped. I heard their breathing as they were standing silently. Were they tired after walking?

"Hello, we are Bangtan. Nice to meet you," one of the people said. They were guys. I knew already from the start after hearing how they walked. I nodded respectfully like I was told to by my mom.

I was honestly really shocked that my mom managed to invite an idol group. I honestly am not a huge fan of idol groups because I like ballads more than fast, Korean pop music, but it's not like I hate them.

"My name is Gwon Aera," I said. I could almost hear how some of the guys nodded in acknowledgement. There was an awkward silence for a moment.

"May I hear your names?" I said, not caring to inform them of my blindness. They probably knew from my mom already anyways.
