Across The Room

The bell rings for class. As normal I walk down hall A4 since my locker is just down to the left. But I have another reason too. Kai Hokeiido sits at his locker near my homeroom class which is my first class everyday. I always wave and smile as he plays on his phone. He always seems to notice me and wave back. But this was the day I was going to say something. Well at least attempt to. I walk past him and finally say it "Morning Kai." I say with a even bigger smile. "Morning Miko." He says waving as normal. I walk into my class and pull out my sketch book. And open it "Today's lesson is about sex and how it works." My teacher, Mr.Rigosiva says. My face turns bright red. My teach is homophobic and believes in Christ. So I knew if I even tried to tell him that the sane gender can have sex too. He'd flip. "Now. The female is a fantastic idem of the human species. And plays a huge role in sex." He says. "Does anyone know why the vagina is such a important thing to the human population and species." He asks. Smirking at some of the ladies. " The vagina is a fantastic body part that is quite enjoyed by the male figure." He says. Pointing to the white bored. "What if your not into girls." I hear coming from Across the room. "Kai I don't think that's a good topic to talk about to your peers." Mr.Rigosiva says with his arms folded. "Yeah. What if your..." I gulp "Gay." I say. The class goes silent. "Well Miko. Then your gonna go to hell." Mr.Rigosiva says. Giving me the stink eye. "So I'm going to hell?" I say confronting him. The class goes silent again. Mr. Rigosiva is shocked. Kai is silent as well. "Is being gay a bad thing? Maybe I like boys? So?" I say yelling at Mr. Rigosiva. I storm out of the classroom. Trying not to cry as I walk by Kai who's face is fully red. I walk to my locker and plop my stuff down. Putting my head in between my legs. "That was quite a show Miko." I hear someone say. I look up and see Kai looking down at me. "You just told everyone your gay." He smiles. "If I did that the girls would cry for months" he laughs blushing as I gasp from his little comment. "Your gay?" I say, shocked and confused. "Your the first one I've told." He says putting his hand on my shoulder and crouching down.    He leans in closer.
