Aaron wasn't going to lie, he wasn't going to say that he hadn't been on an all-nighter that had continued through to midday. He also wasn't going to pretend that he was currently completely sober.
Last night was another mistake that Adam had encouraged him to participate in, a house party that his half-brother Finn Barton was holding, they got invited often to the Barton brothers' raves. Not because they were closely related to Adam, because Aaron had slept with the youngest of the three, and Finn still apparently hadn't recovered from the fact that Aaron Dingle had taken his virginity.
Luckily when he returned home to change into his school uniform, his mum wasn't present, otherwise he would have got sent to Azkaban or somewhere where no internet connection was nearby. Paddy had tutted, taking a sip of his tea, mentioning that the only way he'd cover his back was if Aaron would buy chinese the next time they were home alone. This was a deal that royally screwed Aaron over, as delivering to Emmerdale village from Hotten seemed to bump up the price a bit, as apparently they don't enjoy motor biking through country lanes to make a single delivery, as most settle with a burger from the pub, or have had a danish or a slice of cake from Bob's café earlier in the day.
Reluctantly agreeing to Paddy's demands, Aaron had hauled his way into his box of a bedroom and using a whole can of deodorant, tried to mask the scent of alcohol that clung to his body in a rather unattractive manner. His phone buzzed into life from across the room, drawing him to it. Five texts had been received, one from last night just after his phone had died, just after alcohol clouded his memory. The others from this morning when he had left the party and decided it was a good idea to sober up... with whiskey. He opened the texts one by one each getting a different reaction.
Mum
Hi love, just checking in to see how you're doing, hope Paddy's not boring you to death! I should be back by Monday, turns out that London isn't as interesting as I thought it was, missing the dales already. Missing too of course!
mum xxx.
Adam
Mateeeeee, you really need to keep it in your pants while under the influence. Can't believe you went there, with Finn, again. You know Ross is gonna kill you right? No wonder you bolted this morning with your boxers round your ankles. Can I count on you being in school today? Can't ditch your best mate just because of a lethal hangover, and the fact that you're being manhunted.
Finn
Had a great time last night, maybe we could meet up some time, for dinner and a movie? If you want to, or not, that would also be fine xxx.
Ross
I swear to God Dingle, if what I've been hearing is true, you're dead meat.
I mean it, no one messes with our Finn's head and gets away with it.
Aaron groaned, he hadn't remembered sleeping with Finn, he didn't want him to cling onto him like the last time they slept together, Aaron had made a big mistake, now not only did he have a target on his back, but he also had a lovesick puppy on his radar. He changed into his uniform, the smell of alcohol almost untraceable, still not managing to pull off a convincing enough act that he had not been to a house party on a school night, specifically on a Monday.
He managed to race down the stairs, without tripping over his shoe laces, which he could currently not attempt at tying. Stealing a piece of buttered toast from Paddy's fingertips, he winked at his temporary guardian before racing out the house, greeted by the crisp autumn air that he was now sober enough to recognise.
He had no idea how he was supposed to get to school, which was a fourty-five minute walk without resisting the option of getting bladdered outside a corner shop. Which would leave the school to fine his mum for his poor attendance, again.
Calling Adam was what he would have usually done, but he was already in school, and the chances of him leaving, to pick him up, thus stunting his progression of flirting with Vic, would be slim to none. Aaron had told him not to bother, that he'd been there, done that, and that she wasn't even that good in the sack. Adam had barked out one of his cheerful laughs, pointing out that Aaron wouldn't find any women good in the sack, mostly because of the fact that a vagina was a foreign piece of machinery, also that they kind of disgusted him. Adding in that it takes two to Tango, Aaron had only learnt to Waltz.
Asking Paddy wasn't something that would go down well, adding to Aaron's debt of takeaways, the only person he had left to ask, that wouldn't immediately say no, was Finn. He knew this was cruel, Aaron was asking Finn to jump, hearing how high as a reply.
Aaron sent Finn a quick text, one pleading him to pick him up and take him to school, the reply was instant, having being read the second it was sent. It was sad, really. Finn needed to get a new boy to obsess over, hopefully one less selfish than Aaron.
A mint green fiat 500 pulled up to the pavement, he hoped for Finn's sake that this was Emma's car that he was driving. Aaron gave an awkward smile, opening the door to the womanly car. "Hop in." Finn smugly said, simply receiving a abrupt nod in response.
"So..." Finn Began. "We don't have to go to school, ya know? We could head for a Nando's." Aaron stared blankly at the window as to not scoff at the very idea, how did Finn know that Nando's was his favourite restaurant? It was getting a tad bit creepy if he was being honest.
"I err.. don't think that's a good idea, my English coursework is due soon on A Christmas Carol and I have been struggling with the analysis of The Ghost Of Christmas Past." That was a blatant lie, Aaron had been praised with his knowledge and understanding of the novel, some even going as far as to say he'd ace his gcse's.
Finn spoke up again, much to Aaron's annoyance.
"Oh... well, we could always go back to Aunty Moira's, I think Butlers is pretty much deserted, their on some big delivery to a branch of caterers, one that couldn't wait for Moira's prize mince beef, I've done really well on that book, I could help you." He said, finishing that off by putting his hand on Aaron's.
Aaron removed Finn's clammy hand then replying with. "As wonderful as that sounds, I think Mr Sugden could help me in that area better than you." Smirk evident on his face causing Finn to shake his head in a slow taunting manner.
He looked Aaron straight in the eyes, as if to make a point.
He sighed before continuing. "Aaron, you can't keep sleeping with Mr Sugden, he's obviously taking advantage of you, why would he want a relationship with his 15 year old student? I could help you get away, you don't need to let him manipulate you into sleeping with him, and come on, sex with a thirty-two year old must be like going a charity shop."
Aaron's eyes widened, the accusation causing anger to flood through his veins. "I'm not just sleeping with him, we're together. He's not manipulating me, and for the record, the sex is phenomenal." He sassed.
"But what if someone finds out, he could go to prison!"
Aaron sighed. "Yes, I'm very aware of that Finn, but you're not going to tell anyone. Because if you do, you know our little deal is over?"
Finn nodded, fully aware of the consequences.
Finn had been blackmailing Aaron for a while, as long as Finn kept quiet Aaron would sleep with him once a month, yes he was that desperate, Aaron had to either get stoned or drunk just to make the idea seem like an acceptable one. And Finn didn't really care as long as he got his time with Aaron.

FanfictionAaron doesn't know why he does what he does, it's not that he's heartless, far from it, but he's living his life, maybe that's with sleeping with hopeless romantics who have thugs as brothers, or getting pissed at midday. But all of this led him to...
