The glass shattered
Splintered off in different directions
Pieces falling and hitting the ground
The heart inside him breaking just the same
Shattering and hitting the bottom of his stomach
The pain unreal as the glass she broke mimicked his feelings
Almost mockingly
And he felt like he couldn't breath
As the glass completely shattered on the floor
She left
And his heart fell to the bottom
To not be picked up again
Like the broken glass vase he had made her
