We are but a speck of dust orbiting a candle flame.
Billions of years ago a quantum singularity exploded Leaving
Us to evolve on our own without guidance, the eternal night
Was littered with stars and galaxies!
As I drift among them and then tumble into a black hole
Time and Space become interwoven on a Cosmic Loom
Forming a tapestry of life, Warped and frustrating!
A cloud forms over the city suffocating the precious lives beneath.
When the nightmare diminishes morning light revives the
Horizon as I watch Earth from a distant star system
Nurturing her children one last time as they destroy
Themselves with killing devices they don't understand like proverbial
Children running with scissors.
Silently I whisper a soft mantra for only me to hear:
May peace return to the devastated land where unheard prayers go to die.
