Hell bound Heaven

Fallen

She knows she is supposed to do something. Playing on her computer, the Angel couldn't for the life of her remember what it was. Being on Earth is enough to drive everything from your mind with its stress, deadlines, and material obsessions.  

She knew she had to keep moving, otherwise the demon would catch her.  She does not know why the black haired maniac was following, but she does know that he is obsessed.

She pushed herself away from the table and ordered herself another coffee. The coffee shop, by the name of 'Not a Morning Person', was small, with a vanilla scent piped into the main room, and beige chairs that were very squishy. The coffee drinks all had strange names, like 'Up Studying', and 'Finals Night'.  The baristas were nice, though very loud.

Taking another sip of '2am', she starts packing up her computer. She's already been here for an hour, and that's taking a risk. She could already feel the demon, dark presence almost suffocating, gaining ground.

Hurrying out the door, Mira calls a goodbye to the cashier,  runs to an empty parking lot, and, taking a deep breath, spreads her glowing wings and launches into the air.

She's gotta do something. She has been going from place to place every hour, and she has not slept.  It seems the demon hasn't either, or do those damned things even need sleep?

She kept that question in her mind, turning it over and over uselessly to pass the time in the air.

She flew for four hours, and nearly crash landed when she convinced herself that she needed rest.  Blinking wearily, she walked into a fast food restaurant, hiding in a corner and drifting in a out of a troubled sleep. When she woke up, three of the hours had passed, and the early morning rush hour had begun. Ordering something to wake herself up, she walked out to the parking lot to take flight.

The wind hit her hard, pushing her slightly. When Mira looked up, all she saw were clouds, until a haunting sound chilled her bones.

"I found you, Seraph."
