Her tall black heels shimmer as she walks on the dirty pavement,
Her long black hair covers her scars as a bandaid replacement,
But that doesn't compare to what she holds in containment,
Deep down she wants to be heard,
Deep down she just wants to say one word,
Everyday she wakes up and looks in the mirror,
Oblivious to what she sees, but words can't make it clearer,
A broken women starting into her eyes,
The same women that can't be confined,
Oh how she has so much to say,
But always makes some sort of excuse "God i'll say it some other day,"
And so she keeps everything hidden,
Deep in a world of the forbidden,
Waiting for someone who'll just listen,
But until someone comes who is willing to take care of her heart,
She'll forever be alone in a world that's tearing her apart.
