Warning: Death, Shooting
"Jess?" my sister knocked on the door.
I didn't move an inch. I couldn't, even if I wanted to. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I had told him, begged him, there was nothing I could do. How could I live with this memory inside my head, forever.
"The police are downstairs, they wanna talk to you," I could hear that she was on the verge of tears. The two people I cared most about, one gone, disappeared, and one, gone for good.

"Justin! Stop!" I could barely breathe.
"Not until you admit you cheated," he said with a smile.
"If you... would... stop.... tickling me!" I said between laughs. He immediately stopped and was waiting for me to admit. "On second thought, I don't believe that I did," I teased. As he was about to start tickling me again, a knocked startled us.
"Expecting someone?" he looked at me raising an eyebrow. I shook my head. He got off of me and went to answer the door. He grabbed the doorknob when the person knocked harder. I rolled my eyes, people just don't have patience these days. Justin opened the door and as soon as he did he got punched the jaw. I immediately ran to his aid.
"Justin!" I looked up to take a glance at who just punched my husband in the jaw. "Alex?" his face was red.
"Get out of my way little sis," he walked around me and grabbed the collar of Justin's shirt.
"Alex! Alex, what are you doing?" he punched him again. "Alex!" I grabbed his arm. "Alex! Stop!" He pushed me away.
"I'm doing this for you too, Jess," I didn't even know what he was talking about. I could hear Justin groaning. Out of nowhere, Alex pulled out a gun.
"Oh my god, Alex!" I screamed. I put a hand over my mouth.
"You don't know what he did, Jess," I could see tears welling in his eyes.
"Th-then tell me, Alex, t-tell me what he did," I tried stalling. I'm not sure what I'm stalling for, but I thought maybe a miracle. He turned and pointed the gun at Justin.
"Alex! Alex! J-just look at me. Talk to me, please, and if he deserves it, th-then," I couldn't think, what could I do? "I'll let you do it," he turned to me in disbelief, "I'll let you shoot him," I could hear Justin groaning some more.
He seemed to cooperate considering he put the gun and looked towards me. "He took Macy away from me!" I got confused as to what he was talking about. "She confessed to me, she told me she cheated on me," he quickly wiped his tears from his dark eyes. "When I asked her who it was she wrote down the last name, his," he quickly turned around and pointed the gun at Justin. I couldn't believe this, this is all my fault.
"Alex! Alex, please, don't!" I cried.
"Did you not hear what I just said, Jess! He cheated on you! Macy left me!" I could hear the pain in his voice at the last part. I knew he loved Macy, but not this much where he would full on sob over her.
"HE DIDN'T SLEEP WITH HER, ALEX!" He turned his head toward me.
"I HAVE THE PROOF JESS, SHE WROTE HIS NAME!" I could feel it. He was close to pulling the trigger.
"IT WAS MY NAME!" It was quiet for a minute. "I-It wasn't him whom Macy cheated with, I-it was me," tears rolled down my cheek.
"Y-you?" he lowered the gun.
"It's my last name too, remember?" the tension was high in the room and it was silent.
Next thing I know, he lifts up the gun and shoots Justin in the head. I scream as loud as my lungs could allow. "Now, you can live with the guilt, this was your fault," with that, he ran out the door.

"Jess, please, we need you," I could hear my sister's voice outside the door.
I felt like I had nothing left, all I had was guilt.
