The air was still and silent as Maku and her brother walked slowly into the forest. Maku, excited as always, was hopping around and chattering, Fako on the other hand was making sure nothing was going to startle Maku or hurt her while also looking quiet tired.
"You always seem to look tired, do you ever get enough sleep?" Maku asked with a worried look on her face
"Well I always have to make sure you don't run away" Fako joked
"Hey! I'm mature enough to-" She was cut off by the sight of a butterfly and started chasing it, "Hey! Come back here!"
Fako giggled as he followed her while carrying the picnic basket. They were leaded to a open meadow where Fako decided to put down their picnic blanket there.

I looked around for the sky blue butterfly, I remember its beautiful wing. It glistened in the sun like the sparkling reflection of a rain drop, as I daydreamed I heard my brother telling me to come and enjoy the food. "Don't you ever wonder what happened to our family"
I stopped and stared at him, I was surprised to hear him ask that. It wasn't like my brother to ask those types of questions,
"W-well...yes I do but, it won't bring them back to just feel bad about it" I finally replied, without a warning Fako quickly hugged me.
"You might not know but I was always protecting you" He said to me

"I-I....I know, brother...I know"

~Fako's POV~

As I stopped hugging my little sister, her heart locket swayed a bit.
"We should finish our food" I suggested
"Yeah..." Maku agreed
As we ate the sun started to set and we watched it with our eyes glistening with amaze
"It's so pretty!" Maku gasped
"Don't you wish we can do this everyday?"
"We can! We just need to come here every day at the right time!" She told me excitedly
