"Why do you ask?"

I skidded to a stop as I arrived at Starbucks. If this place didn't exist, neither would my sanity by now.
After walking in, I ordered a drink and a muffin and sat down. It was a little busy this morning, but I didn't mind. More people not paying attention to me meant more muses.
Settling down with my sketch pad, I began to sketch a boy who looked around my age with my blue colored pencil and than began to ink him in. It might sound creepy that I look for random people to draw, but a lot of artists do it. You can't just draw the same things over again or you won't know how to do other things, you have to branch out. ( Something I have yet to do with body types!! ) His head had a square shape to it, and he had black, shaggy hair that had a pastel orange on the tips. His clothing consisted of a black T-shirt with a band logo I didn't recognize on it, ripped jeans, and a pair of pastel orange converse to match his hair. His eyes were what stuck out. They were a bright blue that seemed to make him stand out. I continued to ink him in and color him lightly.
I noticed my breakfast was ready so I got up, grabbed the delicious- but expensive- food, and sat down on my original seat. Said boy had grabbed his food as well, but all the tables were taken. I had chosen a two-person table near the window and I saw an awkward look on his face. "Can I-?" I nodded. He sat down across from me and took out his food. "Thank you," he told me. "No problem,"I replied with a smile before taking a bite out of my food. "So you like to draw?" He asked before eating some of his own food. "Why do you ask?" "Because your drawling someone who looks very much like me." I shrugged and smiled. "We have a winner!" I joked with a small smile. "Yeah, I'm into drawling." He nodded. "That's cool, I like drawling to. So if your drawling me," He began while pulling out a notebook. "Can I draw you?" "Sure, let's make this a contest." I said. "Who can do the self portrait of the other better." I said. He nodded. "Alright, deal." He then began to draw me.
Half an hour passed and we were both done with our food and our drawings. I was surprised at his style. It was realistic to a point. My own style had a little bit of cartoon in it, so the amount of realism surprised me. "Good job, I think your the winner." He purses his lips. "I don't know.. Yours looks better." I shook my head. "Nah-ah." I told him. "Alright than, it's a tie." I nodded as he checked the time. "Well I have to go. It was nice talking to you." He told me getting up. "Wait," I said taking the drawling out of my sketch book and giving it to him. He did the same with his own. "I'll know you by your art style." He joked and began to walk towards the exit. "I'll see you around," He said. I waved goodbye and sat there. I'll never see him again. I didn't even get his name, did I? Oh well, I'll know him when I see him. I though.
After packing up my own things, I left the Starbucks with the new drawling and my things. I biked home once again and settled down in my room.
I put the drawling in my sketch book and began to pack up a few things from on my wall. Within a few days, I'll be gone, off to Oregon. I hope I'm ready for this,

So whatcha' think? I know it took me awhile to update but it's because of internet issues.... Anyway, I hope you all liked the faulted and had a wonderful day!!
