Chapter 1- Her journey begins...

"Happy birthday Aliko!"

"Huh? Oh. Mother? What's wrong?"

Oh yeah.... Today's my birthday.

"Sorry mother. I can't believe I actually forgot my own birthday."

"It's okay dear." She said with a faint smile. I went to get my bag ready to go.

So I am finally 14 years old.

Here in the Spirit kingdom, everyone has to go on a journey when they are 14. They won't know where to go, what to do, or even know what they are looking for.

"You will be going soon. I can't believe it's already been 14 years. Back then you was still a sweet little child." Mother said with tears in her eyes. She didn't want them to come out. But she let go.

"Aliko whatever you do. Never, ever give up. Never give up until you are satisfied with the way things will be. All you will you have to do is search. If you ever lose your way, always remember your locket." I nodded and hugged my mother. I understood what she meant by 'remember your locket' .

I had to find my real parents. Whoever they are.

I soon had to say my goodbyes. And so I left.

It is mid-winter. So the ground is covered with soft white icing. And the sky was raining white droplets.

But these droplets were unique in a way, they weren't called "snow". On this side we call it 'Spirit dexrs', it may sound wierd. But they are called 'Spirit dexrs' for a reason.

They give power and life to the nature and even the Spiritual people themselves.

And with that. My journey begins.
