You're Welcome

Sarah looks at me with a sarcastic look as she crosses her arms.
"What?!" I ask giggling a loud.
"Don't 'what?!' me I saw what you just did!" Sarah says and she thrusts her finger at my chest.
"I simply helped him!" I push her hand away. "Plus he's a friend. Nothing more Sarah." Sarah rolls her eyes.
"Well I mean he is super hot." She winks at me.
"Sarah Alex just left you. Literally yesterday."
"And?! That's his loss. The buffet is now open" she gives me that same stupid cocky wink. I can't help but laugh and roll my eyes at her ridiculousness. She still hasn't changed has she? The 5 minute bell rings and we start to hurry down the hall. Flying pass classrooms we finally reach our A block class. She stops me in the doorway.
"Hey, you're the only one I know whose good at this stuff. Do you think you could talk to him for me?" She starts to play with a piece of her hair.
"Who?" I ask confused.
"The guy you just gave advice to? Max?"
I stand there in shock. But why? Maybe because we are so close and he's like a brother, I've only ever liked him as a friend. Right? I suddenly realized I haven't answered yet and I'm overthinking things. He's just my friend.
"Of course!" I say and widely smile. Sarah smiles back in excitement.
"Great! Thank you!" She quickly pulls me into her embrace and squeezes me tightly. I struggle to find my breath for a brief moment but she let's go. She darts into class nearly in a skip. I look down at my shoes and take a deep breath. Damn this girl can jump from one guy to another so fast. I walk into class and find my seat.

The bell rings and I almost yell in excitement. My science teacher couldn't be anymore boring. Honestly like him sleeping would be more entertaining. I walk out of class and start walking towards my locker as I head foot steps running after me. I go to turn around but Sarah is already right by my side. I smile at her and she smiles back. We make it to my locker and we start to conversate about how boring science is.
"HEY!"
I almost jump out of my skin as I turn around in shock. Max.
"MAX!" I slap him playfully on the arm. You scared the life out of me!
"Oops." He starts laughing. He looks over and notices Sarah.
"Oh hey Sarah." He briefly waves at her. She smiles in amusement.
"Hey Max."
I turn and look at Max again.
"Hey Max, Sarah was just wondering if she could maybe get to know you better." I wink hintfully. Max immediately gets the hint and looks Sarah up and down at last returning to her blushed face.
"Of course." He smirks. "Mind taking a walk with me?" Sarah smiles the most ridiculous smile I've ever seen.
"I suppose so." She says with a cocky grin and walks towards Max. They start to walk side by side down the hallway. Not even glancing back they continue to walk. I can't help but whisper to myself;
"You're Welcome"
