chapter 1

Crystals POV ~

I walked down the street, heading towards the park. The park isn't one of the most popular places. There was an area near the pond that no one but me knew of. I walked towards it and slipped through the bushes. I leaned back and sighed in relief, i drew back my hood and shivered.

"well hello!" I heard a familiar voice call. I quickly drew up my hood, hoping they didnt see my face.

"hi" i said looking at Daniel.

"I still dont get why youre always wearing that cloak thingy." he says sitting down next to me.

"so people dont see my face." i retort pulling it down a bit further, still not able to cover my mouth.

"never thought of that!" dan laughs.

I smile slightly and i see Dan blink mesmorised. I frown and turn away. He looks at me thoughtfully and pulls me into a hug. I put my head in the crook of his shoulder and neck. One of his hands was on my waist and the other was on the back of my neck.

"I understand why you push people away you know?" He says, stroking my hair comfortingly.

I nod and say "yeah, i know."

Parker's POV ~

I leave the cafè and walk to the park, i kick a pebble through the park and i go into this secluded area that i believed no one went into. Walking in i saw Crystals shoulders shaking as one of her friends, Daniel, holds her.

"I hate this!" she whispers, her voice rough.

"Who wouldn't" He sighs.

I sit down and say. "hey."

Crystal shoots back and fixes her hood. Daniel sits next to her and wipes under her hood. I feel the usual jealousy, but I know she would never like me like i do her.

"hi" crystal whispers "shouldnt you be with the devil?"

I never got why she called Katy that, or why Katy always called Crystal "the perfect angel"

"i ditched her, she tried to stick her tongue down my throat." i shuddered at the thought.

"seems like your princess isn't as royal as you thought." Daniel said as he put a blanket over his and Crystals legs.

I saw Crystals mouth twist. "Excuse me, i have to go." She mummbled and walked out of the area.

"Shit i forgot!" Daniel cursed. He caught my confused look and said. "Just something i said."

He got up and raced out. I sat there for a few more minutes until the sun started setting. Then i walked home thinking about Crystal.
