Love Unexpected

Chapter one

-Savannah-

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock yelling at me to wake up. I'm not even kidding, it's like it wants to torture me by waking me up from my dreams about Stefan Salvatore!

Stupid alarm clock.

I hit snooze on my alarm and groan as I put my feet on the floor. I groan again when I realize it's Monday and I have the greatest day ahead of me! Not. I have to go to school.

At least I only have this last year and then I am out. Bye bye. Adios.

Not that I don't like where I live. I do, I love my town. It's just, I want to live. You get me? I want to travel and go to college and learn what fun is! Before I have to come back and settle down.

I am broken out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on the door.

"Come on Vannah! We have to get to school." I hear the voice of my stupid older brother, Nick, say to me.

"Okay, okay! I'm up." I yell back at him as I get out of bed.

I make my way to the bathroom and look in the mirror and wince. Dang, I look terrible.

I do what I have to do. Use the toilet, brush my teeth, and brush my hair. Then go back to my room and get dressed.

I decide to wear a maroon top with some white jeans and match the outfit with a pair of old black vans. I make my way over to my makeup and apply mascara and a little bit of lipgloss. Then put on deodorant and spray myself with my perfume.

Satisfied with my completed look for the day, I make my way over to my door and walk downstairs to get some breakfast.

When I get down stairs, I see my dad at the counter drinking his coffee, while my brother eats his cereal.

"Good morning!" I exclaim as I walk over to kiss my dad on the cheek.

"Good morning, sweetie." my dad says back tired. Dad hasn't really been the same since mom died. But then again, none of us have.

I smile at him and walk over to the fridge and get some orange juice.

"Come on, Sis. We gotta go." my brother says to me as he puts his bowl in the sink.

"Ugh alright." I groan as I grab my backpack and make my way to the front door.

"Bye dad! See you tonight." I yell as I walk out the door to my brothers car.

"Lessgo! Lessgo!" my brother sings as he gets in the car.

I laugh at my idiot twin brother and climb in the car, and buckle up.

He gets in and we make our way to school. Or shall I say, my hell.

Hey guys! I know it probably sucks but just bare with me! In the next chapter you guys with meet Alex. And just to let you know, Savannah and Nick are twins. They go to the same school, and they hang out with the same people. Nick is older by 5 minutes.
