Barely Breathing

Shawn's POV

      We rushed to the hospital and got some visitor passes so we could see her. Almost all the Magcon boys came except for Cameron, we were all really sorry for what we did to Bailee but I thought I was about to pass out when I saw her on the television. I walked slowly to the room and was not prepared for what I saw, she looked dead. I immediately started to cry and Nash patted my back saying,

      "Its all going to be alright."

      "No! It's not, do you see her? She is practically dead. She is covered in scars, bruises, and cuts! Do you really think this is all going to be ok?" I screamed

      Everyone in the room started to cry and I just sat by her bed with her hand in mine, praying and talking to her just hoping she would be alright. The doctor came in and said he had some news,

      "She is in a coma, we don't know when she will wake up. I'm sorry"

Then he left. I felt darkness taking over me and then everything was gone.

Bailee's POV

      I heard the sirens and tire screeches then many voices, I was outside somewhere and I was lifted onto what I think was a stretcher. I heard news reporters and people talking about medicine dosages. I couldn't see anything or even manage to open my eyes, so I just decided to block out the sound too. After about 30 mins I heard a steady beeping. I still couldn't open my eyes or speak, in fact I couldn't do anything but listen. I heard people come in and it sounded like the boys. Someone started to cry and Nash told him everything was going to be alright. He screamed back at him,

       "No! It's not, do you see her? She is practically dead. She is covered in scars, bruises, and cuts! Do you really think this is all going to be ok?"

I knew that voice, it was Shawn Mendes. I heard people crying and I just wanted to be able to say stop, stop feeling sorry for me now when you made my life a living hell! Someone came closer to my bed and sat at the end. He started talking to me and praying, then he took hold of my hand and I knew it was Shawn. I just wanted to squeeze it back, I tried so hard then the doctor came in. He said I was in a coma. I was terrified because they didn't know when I would wake up. I don't know how much longer I can take laying here so helpless and vulnerable. Then I heard a loud crash and people yelling Shawn's name. No, no, no. Please let him be ok. I love him.

Taylor's POV

        I watched them take Shawn away. Why was everything happening now? I felt so bad for Bailee. I heard the door open and in came a nurse and Shawn on a portable bed. the put Shawn next to Bailee. Shawn's eyes fluttered open and looked around. We all got up and bombarded him with questions.

        "Please just let me rest." he begged. We all nodded and sat down, I looked at him and he grabbed Bailee's hand. Then I saw him go pale, all he said was,

        "Get the doctor, now!" I ran out and called for the doctor he came running into the room and told us we had to leave, even Shawn was removed from the room. He was calling for her. We had no idea what happened that was so bad so we asked Shawn in his new room. He said,

        "She didn't have a pulse in her wrist." We all looked at each other but said nothing. We all started to cry but then we realized it was late and nobody wanted to leave so we asked for some blankets and found places to sleep in the room.
