Prologue

In the kingdom there is three classes or wings. The first were the rich. The rich were businessmen, royal, important figures, and high ranking military commanders. These people were important to the kingdom and where depended on to keep the kingdom running. The second was the military. The military was for men only and only people in the best condition could get in. The third was slavory. These were mostly women and children. These people were either taken to pay the debt or sold to gain money. The arrested depending on the crime they were given a choice between a painful death or life in slavory with no chance to get out. Most would chose death even if they were to get burned alive. Those who were sold because they were arrested were treated lower than trash. Poorly fed and beat to death almost every night. The people who bought these pieces of "property" were called Breakers. The last group that is a secret except to the rich where called Sword Shadows. They were trained to kill, gather information, fight, protect, and to be silent and not seen. They are hand picked and taken from anyone and anywhere. They would take from the prisons, slave houses, homes, thugs, military, and even owned slaves were taken. It didn't matter where they came from they were taken and normal never seen again. The slavory class would hear legends about them. We dreamed to become them. It would free us from these torture houses.
