"Ami... Please don't go..." The sound of a soft male voice came distant.

"Mm.." Ami woke up from his soft slumber. After blinking twice he realize that he woke up
"...GOSH DARN IT!! I CAN NEVER SLEEP!--"
"SHUT. UP!" All the villagers shouted from their homes.

"S-sorry.. -_- " Ami said as quietly as he can.
All alone in his dark room he watches the village's cat watching him. Ami calls out to it.
(′・ω・')..The cat stays watching him in silence. "...not going to come? Fine. Be that way." Ami sighs. Not feeling tired, Ami gets up and starts his day.
Ami looks at the dark skies.
"12 a.m., great. Oh well." Feeling a bit pickish Ami desires some thing to eat.
"Hmmmm..." after surching through his empty food storage, he spots old candy.
"Sighs... If I eat this I may or may not die. Eh, who am I kidding, I have no choice."
( • ̀ω•́ )✧ Just then the cat come out of his lazy sate, jumps high enough to grab the candy.
".....(ಥ_ಥ)....why? That was my breakfast. Sigh. Guess there's on point.." He begins looking at the scrawny cat. "You need it as much as I do."
The village's cat is no one's alone. The cat goes from house to house for food or some place to rest. Since Ami is the only villager who lives alone the cat always crashes at his place. Ami doesn't mind. The cat reminds Ami of himself; skinny, alone, surviving to stay alive.
Though everyone knows a lot about the cat, they really don't know where it came from.
"Welp, time to start my day." And with that, Ami headed out into the dark morning.
