Chapter 01

"Did you hear the news? Omg!" Yuna's new found friend, Abby, squealed in excitement.

Yuna just stared at her, clueless about what her friend is talking about. "What news?"

Abby shot her a look of disbelief. "Have you been living under a rock?" It's all over the campus!"

Yuna mimicked her friend. "Have you forgotten? I'm an exchange student. I just arrived here two weeks ago, that's why I'm asking."

"Alright," Abby sat in her arm rest. "A member of Hey! Say! Jump was accepted here! Inoo Kei to be exact and he'll be in the Architecture Department too. Can you imagine that? I need to take this opportunity to ask him about Chinen."

She really has no idea what Abby is talking about. Hey! Say! Jump? Inoo Kei? Chinen? This is the first time she heard the name.

"Um, but who is this Inoo Kei and Chinen?" Yuna asked innocently.

"Chinen is my husband and Inoo is my brother-in-law. Hold on, I'll show you a picture." Abby pulled her phone in her pocket and held it in front of Yuna's face. "That's Inoo and Chinen. They are members of a nine all male group called Hey! Say! Jump or Jump in short. They are a famous group here especially Chinen. Chinen is super famous!"

All Yuna's seeing is two pretty boys. One is too short for her liking and the other one looks too feminine he could even pass as a girl.

She was never into Jpop ever since. She never found them appealing or whatsoever. What's so special about them that Abby is going gaga over this group?

"Isn't Inoo too pretty?"

"Yeah he's even prettier than you." Yuna laughed.

"Shut up."

"Seriously though, why are you so into this Jump? They look so girly and skinny."

Yuna received a hard slap on the arm from Abby.

"Hey, that hurt." Yuna said, gently rubbing her arm.

"You asked for it."

Yuna raised both hands, as if surrendering. "Alright, no more talking bad about your 'husband' and Jump, Ms. Mad Fangirl."

"Correction, we are called tobikko."

"Yeah whatever."

The usual ruckus in the classroom stopped when the professor entered the room. Mr. Degawa greeted them good morning before introducing the guy standing beside him.

Yuna's attention was caught by the beautiful boy. He's wearing a white long sleeved shirt and a striped sleeveless blazer. His hair that reaches his nape was spiky and messy, like the one you see in Japanese dramas and anime. He's none other than the guy Abby showed in the picture earlier, Inoo Kei.

Yuna's eyes must be tricking her because this Inoo Kei in front of the class looks really cool.

Inoo did a brief introduction of himself before Mr. Degawa instructed him to take the vacant seat near the window, which was beside Yuna.

Abby who was sitting in front of Yuna looked behind and gave her a silly grin.

"Wow, it's so cool to have an idol classmate. Hi, Inoo, I'm Abby. Nice to meet you." The mad fangirl even offered her hand. "You look much prettier in person."

Inoo just let out a chuckle. Looks likes even he's a member of an idol group, he's not used in taking compliments. Yuna found it amusing.

"Anyway---"

Yuna cut Abby off, feeling a little embarrassed about her friend's behavior. She turned to Inoo to apologize.

"I'm sorry she's really like that when she gets over excited."

Inoo looked at her and smiled. "It's alright."

Her heart skipped a beat when their eyes met for the first time for some reasons she couldn't understand. Why does his smile affect her so much?
