Trapped forest

Chapter One: The First Night

For me it was a boring trip, it was an awful day for camping but my friends enjoyed it so why not try? The day was horrible, there was gray mud splashing up Marie's new car, the tires where being worn out. Jackie and I had been on our phones most if the time, until our wifi whent out. So we just watched the birds fly slowly flapping their wings, tho it was very concerning to me that they where flying away from the forrest.

"Hey, uh guys dont you find it weird that the darkness seems to be spreading?" I said considering its been an hour since we entered the forest. The rain stopped a while ago and it was sunny out. "No it's not that weird the suns probably going down" Jack said laughing a bit. "Its only 2 pm though" I said and it grew silent and erie, you could hear the slight wistling of the wind hitting the crusted fallen leaves.

"Ok we are going to set camp up here"  Ashlin said as he started taking out his tent. We split up into two tents, mine being shared with Marie and jackie, and the other being shared with Ashlin and Jack.

I took my lantern out to check the area because I had been awoken by the sound of rustling, it was 12 am so i couldn't see it being one of the guys, Jackie and Marie are still fast asleep. I decided to call out into the darkness when i stepped out of the tent, "Anyone there" I said. After a good five minutes I got a sudden chill as if I was being watched but it was 70 degrees outside and i know nobody was there, so I headed back into the tent and slowly fell asleep.
