The Basic AJR Guide
_________________
• AJR stands for the brother's names, Adam, Jack, and Ryan.
1. The oldest at 25 is Adam.
2. The middle child is Ryan at 23.
3. The youngest is little Jack at 20.
4. All three were born and raised in New York.
Adam Met:
• Adam does vocals, bass guitar, programming, samples, and percussion.
• He graduated from Columbia University.
• He has the most laid-back voice of the group. It's not necessarily deep, but it's the closest of the three to it. He doesn't sing as much as Jack and Ryan.
• He has the less facial hair than Jack, but more than Ryan. (Though, this may or may not change.)
• He was born on August 27, 1991.
Ryan Met:
• Ryan does vocals, ukulele, keyboards, synthesizers, trumpet, drums, percussion, samples, and programming.
• He attended Columbia University for one year.
• He has a lower voice than Jack, and it's not as full of energy, but it has slightly more energy and is higher than Adam's. He tends to sing quietly.
• He has no facial hair and is the only blonde brother, and the only brother that wears glasses.
• He was born on March 3, 1994.
Jack Met:
• Jack does lead vocals, guitar, melodica, ukulele, drums, percussion, keyboards, synthesizers, samples, and programming.
• I can't find anything regarding college so I'm assuming he didn't attend.
• He has the highest, most outgoing voice, he sings the most so it should be easy to pick him out from the others.
• He currently has a decent amount of facial hair, and you can see him with a dope hat a lot of the time.
• He was born on August 16, 1997.
About the band itself:
• They became famous by tweeting a video of "I'm Ready" to multiple celebrities, one of which showed it to some important producer or whatnot. The official music video has over 21 million views on Youtube.
• They've been a band since 2006 but their first album, Born and Bred, didn't come out until 2010.
• Their latest album, The Click, came out in June of 2017.
• They've opened for many popular artists including Andy Grammar, Demi Lovato and The Vamps.
• They get a lot of their inspiration from people such as Kanye West and The Beach Boys.
• Their genre is Pop.
• Their latest tour for "What Everyone's Thinking" sold out everywhere.
• According to their Twitter they are currently working on writing for AJR, producing for another artist, designing album art, and conceptualizing a video.
• Drama is trending for the first time on YouTube15.
• None of the brothers expected to make it anywhere.
• Adam said on their Twitter explaining The Good Part that once they wrote that song they knew what the album (The Click) was going to be. It was going to tell the story of working hard on something only to realize that theirs another tunnel to go through, wanting the hard part to be over, and the feeling when you think that it might just be over.
• They said on their Twitter they they'd rather have a small fanbase with passionate invested fans and that they get that AJR's not for everyone.
• Their concerts are amazing.
This is a really short guide and I'm sorry for that but I did say basics.
