10 ‣   To add an overlay as a background, load all the overlays you want to experiment back into image maker. Once again, move your template to drag and drop another image, in this case the filter overlay. 

    Like the previous steps, move your template back into place. Click on overlay image, go to blend mode, and lighten. 

    Stretch overlay to your liking. In this case, I'll even rotate it vertically as opposed to how it shows up (horizontally)  to fit more evenly.

    Again, once it's stretched out to your liking, go to opacity and turn it down to fifty or however much you like. The lower the opacity the better you can see the image ( Maryse ). I do like an overlay, but I hate it when it disturbs TOO much of the focal image. Although, sometimes a high opacity makes for a good grungy feel. You do you. 

   Here's what the final results should look like:

     To add text, well just go to the T on the panel and add whatever font you so wish. For my covers when using this template, I use these fonts:

    Jellyka can be downloaded from dafont.com and Times New Roman is offered in BeFunky unde the OURS tab. Whatever you download appears on the YOURS tab.
